Moorlands Radio sat down with Richard Duffy following the retained list being released as well as three signings being announced.

The departures of three players (Ethan Hartshorn, Peter Williams and Max McCarthy), the retained list being published and the arrival of three players- Rob Stevenson, Julius Ndene and Shakeel Jones-Griffiths has kept the Bears busy preparing for the 2026/27 season.

Over the weekend, Congleton Town said farewell for now to Max McCarthy.

The man who has his own catalogue of spectacular goals for the Bears is moving to National League North side Radcliffe FC.
