New job for new clients and more work being booked in with them later, this room needed a lot of prep to grt it up to the standard i wanted, along with taking the lining paper off the ceiling we found 2 massive cracks and the light socket had a massive hole in the side which all needed filling before anything else could be done. Next all the lining paper was filled and sanded to stop it looking like lining paper, then it was all caulked before finally being painted in 2 different colours. We had rain one day which we found a leak coming through the chimney wall so although it was all painted i redid that wall applying zinsser bin before repainting it all again

New job for new clients with more work being booked in for the new year. Although this was going all white sometimes theyre the hatdest to do because white shows up every flaw, so you need to do an awful lot of filling and sanding before you can paint. Also every architrave needed caulking as they all had massive cracks and none of the tops if the architraves had ever been painted. Also managed to get rid of all the old paint off the wooden banister from the last time it was painted, along with most of the paint that was left in the hinges

Job completed for a new couple, and what a lovely couple, well be booking in the next stage with them for new year as im booked up til then. So as per the last post, just because this room was to be fully wallpapered doesnt mean it shouldn't be filled and sanded and treated like any other wall...that way rhe wallpaper is going to go up true, match, and look spot on. Ive done a lot of caulking on this job as well as you can see from the photos, plus white ceiling and all woodwork inc rads painted white

Just because walls are being wallpapered doesnt mean the wallsshouldnt be prepped as you would if you were painting them, it makes for a much better finish and ensures the wallpaper will stay in good condition...watch this space for this transformation!

Job for this week for new clients, all mist coated and sized and caulked round all edges, the underside of the windowsill hadnt been filled or sealed correctly, so got that sorted before painting ceiling white, getting woodwork filled and sanded, caulked undercoated and glossed, then all walls wallpapered, with lots of edges to work around and play with!

Finally got the large job of 5 rooms done, il be posting the other 4 rooms later on but they were all very difficult due to realy poor treatment from the previous deccy who failed to do a mist coat properly, didnt fill or sand or caulk, even though they were paid to do that. Finally getting to fill and sand was incredibly difficult as i wasnt asked to do the woodwork or ceilings and pretty mush every ceiling had large cracks or holes which would interfere with both the top and bottom cutting in lines. Also, as you can see, access to get the work done was also a major issue - working in 1 foot of space to fill sand and paint is not conducive to a healthy back!
Anyway, this room has been filled and sanded to within an inch of its life, a full day spent just sanding it, and then 3 different colours cut in

Job ive managed to get done in 5 days, a large triple hsl. Although this was all in white it took a lot of effort as the walls needed a lot of filling and sanding, the last deccy had got paint on a lot of the woodwork, and hadnt bothered to fill around the beams, leaving unsightly large holes around all 3 of them. Plus 16 door reveals to be scraped out and caulked around all the edges, this involved pretty much 12 hour days to get it boxed off.
Ive done all of the downstairs rooms for this lady a few months ago but havnt had a chance to upload those photos either so il be uploading those later on tonight

Finally able to get this job boxed off for a lovely repeat client and id consider a good freind now. It was done a few months ago but he had new carpets put in and unfortunately it had ruined a lot of the woodwork, so sanded filled and sanded, primed with zinsser and 2 coats of black satinwood to get it back to how it should be, the walls, ceiling etc were done a few months ago by me
