Today marks a very special, but also incredibly sad day for everyone involved with the Greg Marshall All Stars Memorial Game. ❤️

Today would have been Greg’s 29th Birthday… but for so many of us, he will forever be 26. 💔

When we first set this game up, our aim was simple to come together, remember Greg, and support the charities that were there for him when he needed them the most.

We never could have imagined just how big this would become, or how many people would come together year after year in Greg’s name and memory.

Days like today really hit home just how much this game means to all of us. Every player, every volunteer, every sponsor, every supporter and everyone who has played a part is helping to keep Greg’s memory alive while raising money for causes that meant so much to him.

We may never get to celebrate Greg’s 29th birthday with him, but we can make sure his name continues to be remembered, his story continues to be told, and his legacy continues to make a difference. 🏒❤️

Happy Birthday Greg. 🎂

You are forever loved, forever missed and forever 26 in our hearts. 💔

What an incredible day! 🏒🔥

The 3rd Annual Greg Marshall All Star Memorial Game has once again shown just how amazing our hockey family, friends, sponsors and wider community truly are.

Thanks to EVERY SINGLE PERSON who bought a ticket, donated, sponsored, bought merchandise, took part in the raffles and activities, volunteered, played, cheered from the stands or simply turned up and supported us.

Together, WE HAVE RAISED AN INCREDIBLE £13,000! 🎉💷

This money will be donated to our chosen charities — Royal British Legion and Live Life Give Life — helping us continue to support two fantastic causes close to the heart of this event. ❤️💙

But most importantly, this day is about Greg.

It’s about remembering an incredible person, celebrating his life and making sure his name and legacy continue to live on through something positive.

Every year, we are blown away by the support this event receives, and this year has been no different. £13,000 is an incredible achievement, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

My name is Tessa Marshall and I am the mother of Greg Marshall.

I would like to say without the support of you all for the ‘Greg Marshall Memorial Game’. , this whole event, which is run and organised by volunteers, would never be possible.

I wanted to acknowledge this personally and say a massive thank you on behalf of his siblings, Harrison Brogan and Francesca, and myself.

All the people who make this possible need applauding, those who have been a real driving force and pushing this forwards and whom continues to support me and my family.

The event itself once again was a huge success and is growing each year, raising well-needed funds for two very special charities, Live Life Give Life and the Royal British Legion.

At present, we don’t have the exact figures but know every little makes a huge difference.

At this type of event there are no losers so whoever you backed will always be a winner !
