End of season, mini tournament for CWFC this afternoon. As always, it was a fantastic, friendly but competitive! This season has seen the team develop in skill and confidence. The 202627 season is going to be a great one. Watch this space. ❤️

The last match of the season and we played our hearts out! Lots of work has been put in this season and communication, passing, set pieces are improving week on week.

Player of the match went to Rachel & Layla this week, awesome play, well done.

POTM WENT TO Emma W, what a game- first half in goal and then excellent defending and a cracker of a goal. Joined by other two amazing goal scorers today, 2 brilliant goals from Fiona and a belter from Emma A. Well done!! ⚽️⚽️

CWFC’s penultimate game saw them take on Scotton. In a nail biting, end to end game, we came back from 2-0 to drawing 3 all at half time. 2nd half saw Scotton take the lead but an awesome goal finished 4-4. Brilliant passing, brilliant communication, brilliant team work and 4 AWESOME goals!

Back to back games today for CWFC. First game again Burley FC 1-0 loss but it was an even game , and we were unlucky not to score. POM went to Charlotte. Second game was against Killinghall. 4-2 result. Two great goals scored by Bea and Charlotte. Awesome efforts in goal by Liz. Once again, the scores not reflecting the performance and efforts of the whole CWFC team. Well done everyone. The next game is ours!

CWFC’s talents don’t just stay on the football pitch, this weekend some of team took on some inspiring sporting challenges. Rachel & Estelle took on The Lap, an ultra Marathon, Nikki took to the streets of London for a 100km night ride and Ali took on the Leeds half Marathon. As if playing football wasn’t enough, these women are such an inspiration. Well done girls…What’s next! 💪⚽️💪

CWFC’s hosted the first women’s wellness evening.

A great turn out for our first event, we welcomed guest speakers covering a number of topics from menopause, strength and fitness, physio and mental health.

We raised a fantastic £305!

CWFC is of course about fitness and playing the game of football but at its heart it’s about community and tonight that came across loud and clear, sharing insightful and supportive information. A fantastic evening, hopefully the first of many.

Great game in the sunshine today against Harrogate Railway.

1-2 loss but came away strong in mind and spirit!
