Quality, uncomplicated, amateur friendly young mare with an excellent temperament and plenty of potential for someone to produce in any discipline. Strong, solid type with a leg at each corner.

I only broke her in last month, so she is still very green, but she has been hugely straightforward and willing from day one. She doesn’t need lunging before riding and comes out the same every time.

She has three correct paces with a good hind leg and gives a very safe, genuine feeling to ride. Despite being right at the beginning of her education, she is already happily working both in and out of the arena and is confident being ridden in open spaces.

I’m no jump jockey, so she has only been jumped a handful of times, but she immediately understood the job and has shown herself to be brave, willing and naturally capable.

She was bought directly from her breeder in Ireland as a yearling. Prior to coming to me, she grew up at home in a busy family environment and is completely accustomed to other animals, children on bikes and general day-to-day chaos. She will live in or out, in a herd or on her own, and is straightforward and easy to have around with none of the stereotypical ‘mare-ish’ behaviour.

Her sire, Orestus, needs little introduction, having competed at the highest level with Juan Andres Rodriguez, including the Beijing Olympics, Pan American Games and numerous international 1.60m classes. Orestus is by the legendary Indoctro out of a Ramiro mare, combining some of the leading bloodlines in modern warmblood breeding.

Remi’s dam, Fashionista M2S, is by Camillo VDL, a son of the legendary Douglas. Fashionista’s dam, Benita M2S, is a full sister to Ahsignita M2S, bronze medallist at the Young Riders Challenge Championship, and is also a maternal half-sister to Eric Lamaze’s 5* winner Wang Chung.

She is only for sale on behalf of her owners lack of time.

10 🥕 Priced to reflect that she has small incipient cataracts, occupying less than 15% of the lens and not considered to affect her vision at all.

Luciano gained his second qualification for the Nationals today, winning the Inter I S- securing his second Regional title of the season. 🥇🥇

It wasnt our most polished performance but I’m pleased as he deserves to go! I’ve been completely floored with food poisoning, so Lucci hadn’t been worked for the four days leading up to today, which is far from ideal preparation 😅

Luckily as Calum is home 🇺🇸 Shannon Equestrian he warmed us up, which made a big difference.

Whilst I know it’s often not viable, we’re in the very fortunate position at the yard to have over 100 acres of grazing available for the horses all year round. This set up suits Lucci aka ‘the new forest pony’ perfectly.
