The show includes six classes split into junior and senior sections and are suitable for a wide range of riders.

Class 1 – Aberhall Mini’s(age8 and under) – Test 6
Class 2a – Aberhall Intro – Test 6 (see note below)
Class 2b – BD Introductory 3 – 2024
Class 3 – Aberhall Canter – Test 6 (see note below)
Class 4 – BD Prelim 3 – 2024
Class 5 – BD Novice 3 - 2024

Entries close at midnight on Wednesday 16th September.

Please Note
We have split class 2 into sections 2a and 2b.

Class 2a – is a confidence boosting class for nervous or less experienced riders who are perhaps new or fairly new to dressage.

Class 2b – Rider/horse combinations must not have competed in any BD Novice class previously at any venue.

Class 3 – Rider/horse combinations must not have competed in any BD novice class previously at any venue.

These rules apply to both senior and junior riders.

The postcode HR2 8LL brings you directly to us. Follow the signs to the parking area; there are two: one at the top of the hill and one adjacent to the arena. Please use either but check before driving down to the bottom car park that is not already full.

As you will see it's a busy day so please park sensibly to allow others to park easily around you.

Arrive with enough time to warm up. Bear in mind that your start time is when you ride down the centre line so please be ready a couple of minutes before your time and waiting at the far side of the warm up arena.

Please do not hang haynets outside lorries/trailers.

There will be a photographer in attendance and pictures will be available to buy directly from her after the event - her page is linked here for you E&B Media and we will share a link to the pictures on our page too.

We also have a super caterer attending so an opportunity to have breakfast or a drink and snack! Please bring cash.

The summer dressage series is an unaffiliated series of six dressage shows at Aberhall Equestrian, one per month between April and October 2026.

Each show includes six classes split into junior and senior sections and are suitable for a wide range of riders.

League registration is free and automatic for horse /rider combinations and points are awarded in each show for 1st – 6th places. These points are accumulated over the series with fabulous end of season sponsor embossed Champion rosettes, sashes and perpetual trophies to the overall winners of each class. You do not have to enter every show.

We are excited to announce that classes 4&5 will be qualifiers for the SSADL Blue Chip Dressage Championships held in Warwickshire in September!

You do not have to be an SSADL member to qualify- we do all the leg work for you and submit your qualification and SSADL contact you in August!
