What beautiful weather. Tough racing today. In the first race I got caught in an unavoidable crash. It bent my bottom arm and front end welds snapped. I managed to race in the second race but popped my tyre so had to pull off. Huge thanks to Mark Boucher for helping me straighten my car on his Hiab. thank you to James and Kyle for helping me but on a new bottom arm this meant I could do the last race where I came in 5th. I started at the back so was pleased I got so far up.

I have got behind with my updates. Sorry
Results from the last 2 day race kept me in 5 th place but closer in points. My car went really well.
At the next meet, my car went ok in the first race the track was slippy so I got 5th place. Still one point though. The second race my car started bogging down running on 3 cylinders then 4 and back to 3. Last race I went to go out and my ignition went on the start line so I had to watch from the middle of the track.
We had to do a lot of investigating, replaced spark plugs, injectors, checked the battery connections. We found that the timing was out by two teeth and I needed a new cambelt.

My sponsor for this day of the 2 is SWLC performance. They are family run specialist noble and lotus garage in Lifton, who love restoring beautiful classic cars and my sister Kiera works in the office.
Often being featured on the tv programme ‘Bangers and Cash’ we are privileged to have them choose to sponsor our team. Because of their sponsor we have been able to buy some new tyres ready for the 2 day weekend race meet!

Racing Update:
On Sunday I had a really good day, the track was not slippy and not dusty but it was quite bumpy on the bottom corner, but ok.
In the first race I managed to get a 3rd after learning out my lines more.
In the 2nd race I managed to just avoid a little group accident resulting in a restart where I managed to overtake from the back and get my first ever 1st place trophy!
On the last race I was determined to get another trophy. After a very good battle all race I managed to get them on the line to win the race. It was nose to nose over the line and I was just ahead. Really good fun racing.

The team also did well with Kiera getting a 5th place, got hit on the second race after a false start, she stopped but someone behind her didn’t and hit her back wheel. Then 2nd place.
Kyle got 2nd 1st and 4th (he always starts at the back)
James 1st,3rd and 3rd.

Last meet I won a trophy, I had a great days racing but had repairs to make to my car afterwards. Without my amazing sponsors I wouldn’t be able to race. I have been learning to weld to repair my front end and needed a new battery.
