​We are running a World Cup Sweepstake to raise vital funds for the amazing Cancer Fund for Children
​There are 48 teams up for grabs. Once all spots are filled, teams will be drawn completely at random!

🚨 EMERGENCY SIGNING ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

​The ink is dry, the paperwork is filed, and the physiotherapist is already hyperventilating.
Olderfleet Swifts FC Legends have officially signed the man, the myth, the absolute loose cannon: Stratto! ✍️⚽️

​With the squad currently stretched thinner than the ham in a budget sandwich, we went looking for "passion, grit, and someone who won't mind sitting on a freezing bench." Stratto checked all the boxes.

​Here is what you need to know about our new utility man/liability:

​Match Fit? Well, he recently went toe-to-toe in a charity boxing match against Mark from Belfast Breakfast Baps So while his footballing tiki-taka might be non-existent, we know for a fact he can take a beating and keep swinging. 🥊

​The Ultimate Sponsor: Not only is he joining the squad, but he’s also the face of Paddys Powerful Bottle — the official sponsors keeping the Legends hydrated. 🍼⚡️

​Tactical Position: Primarily "Right Wing," but highly likely to wander off to the sidelines to sell some of Paddys Bottles mid-match.

​"I'm delighted to be here. I bring a lot to this team. Mostly a cooler full of Paddys Powerful Bottles, but also a fierce right hook if the referee looks at us funny." — Stratto, probably.

​Come down next Sunday to Brookvale Park @5.15pm kick off to see if Stratto can actually kick a moving ball, or if he just spends 90 minutes trying to hawk bottles to the opposing fullback.

📢📢EMERGENCY LOAN SIGNING ALERT📢📢

With our injury list still as bad as ever, resulting in us having to postpone a scheduled game this Sunday, we've had to extend the couple of recent loan signings to boost the bench for our match against Northern Ireland Veterans Soccer Initiative next Sunday 7th June.

After extremely tough negotiations with Kenny at Wellington Rec, they have agreed to extend Wellington Rec Over 40s Lynchpin John Glenn for an undisclosed fee, possibly the largest ever paid for a loan signing.

Our second signing was just as tough due to an excellent display and assist in his first game for Swifts, Pan Mata William Magill

We have one final signing to be announced as soon as we receive international clearance from Fifa, due to work permit issues representing his country: the lowly ranked Craggy Island.

Why not come along and support the lads on Sunday 7th June at Brookvale Park, 5.15pm Kick off. Entry Fee is a donation to Cancer Fund for Children
