People often ask what makes my Small Group PT different, so I thought I'd explain exactly how it works.

Small groups of 3-4 people maximum, personalised programming through my app, nutrition support, accountability and a great group environment where everyone is working towards becoming fitter, stronger and healthier.

Most importantly, you'll have support and guidance every step of the way.

I currently have a couple of spaces available:

There are people wishing they had the opportunities you have tomorrow.

The job you're complaining about, the body you're trying to improve.

The family that drives you mad, the house that needs cleaned, and even the alarm clock you don't want to hear.

Someone else would love the chance to live with this.

There is no coach, programme, diet or gym that can force you to be consistent.

They can guide you, they can support you, they can give you the tools.

But when the alarm goes off in the morning, when you're tired after work, when motivation has disappeared and nobody is watching

It's on you.

Real results come from continuing to show up long after the excitement has faded.

The people who succeed aren't always the most talented.

They're the ones who keep turning up, even on the days they don't feel like it.

Consistency isn't something someone gives you.

It's a choice you make every single day. πŸ’™

A quick question for you tonight.

When was the last time you sat in complete silence?

No TV, no music, no phone, no podcast, no scrolling.

Just you and your own thoughts.

I realised recently that many of us are constantly looking for the next distraction, the next dopamine hit, the next thing to keep our minds occupied.

Yet some of the most peaceful moments I've had lately have come from doing absolutely nothing.

Just sitting quietly, listening to the birds and letting my mind slow down.

In a world that never stops moving, maybe one of the healthiest things we can do is simply be still. πŸ’™

CATES GOALS ACHIEVED ☺️

Today Cate reached her goal weight of 9 stone.

To some people, that might just sound like a number on a scale, but what I've seen happen over the last few months has been so much bigger than that.

Cate is part of one of my personal training small groups, and has lost just under a stone of body fat, but more importantly she has completely transformed her confidence, knowledge and approach to training.

When she first walked through the gym doors she was nervous, lacked confidence and had very little understanding of how to carry out a structured workout or perform exercises correctly.

Fast forward to today and she now understands calories and macros, has built discipline around food, knows her way around a gym and is completely confident training on her own.

She no longer walks into the gym wondering what to do. She has the knowledge and confidence to train with purpose and get the most out of every session.

That confidence wasn't built overnight. It came from showing up consistently,listening and learning new skills, trusting the process and putting in the work week after week.

As a coach, that's what makes me proud.

Not just helping someone lose weight, but helping them gain the confidence and knowledge to continue succeeding long after they've reached their goal.

The scales say 9 stone but, I see a stronger, more confident woman who now has the tools to take control of her own health and fitness for life.

Well that wasn't the birthday adventure I had planned

After travelling down for the Mourne Way Marathon, the race was unfortunately cancelled due to the extreme weather conditions.

With rivers bursting their banks, sections of the course becoming unsafe and the ultra runners who set off at 6am apparently stranded in places requiring assistance, it was definitely the right call by the 26 Extreme race organisers.

As disappointing as it is after months of training, safety always comes first.

These things happen, and there will be other opportunities to have a rattle at this year.

The mournes will still be there for the next time πŸ’ͺ

Fair play to the organisers, marshals, mountain rescue teams and everyone involved in keeping runners safe today.

Time to enjoy the rest of my 40th birthday weekend and look ahead to the next challenge πŸ˜ŠπŸ’™

Only got a bit of a soaking going over to get my race number, so it's a relief to be honest, as I knew I was going to be a drowned rat today πŸ™ˆ

So I hit the big 40 tomorrow, and the birthday celebrations start today, as we head down to stay in Kilkeel for the week...

So I hit the big 40 tomorrow, and the birthday celebrations start today, as we head down to stay in Kilkeel for the weekend ❀️

Running 26 Extremes Mourne Way Marathon tomorrow, no better way to spend my 40th than doing what I love.

I just want to say a massive massive thank you to all of my clients who gave me cards and presents, you absolutely spoilt me rotten, I feel very much appreciated and my birthday is made already and it's not even hear yet, thanks again you beautiful people. God bless you all πŸ’™ Kyle

One of the biggest myths from women over 40 is that they need to spend hours doing cardio to lose weight.

The reality is, endless cardio often leaves you tired, hungry and frustrated when the scales don't move the way you hoped.

As we get older, maintaining and building muscle becomes more important than ever. Strength training helps preserve muscle, supports your metabolism, improves bone health and shapes your body in a way cardio alone simply can't.

Now, if you enjoy running, running is great. Keep doing it. But don't fall into the trap of thinking it's the be all and end all when it comes to fat loss and changing your body shape.

Combine strength training with regular walks, a sensible diet and consistency, and you'll be giving yourself the best chance of staying strong, healthy and lean for years to come.

You don't need to punish yourself on a treadmill for hours.

Lift weights, go for walks, eat well and trust the process.
