We are absolutely delighted to announce that Cafe @ Vikingar! has been nominated for Best Cafe in the Ayrshire Retail Business Awards 2026!

We are truly overwhelmed and incredibly grateful to receive this nomination, especially as we have only been open for just over six months.

Since opening in November 2025, the café has become much more than a place to enjoy great food and drinks. The cafe has helped create a real sense of community and has enhanced Vikingar! as a community hub for the people of Largs and beyond.

⭐️ 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 - 𝗕𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁! ⭐️

A massive well done to everyone involved in Treasure Island, including achieving two sold out shows! ✅

We were delighted to work alongside ShowWorks Theatre and Largs Community Council to enhance the theatre experience for older members of our community through the “Be Our Guest” initiative that was brought to us.

This fantastic partnership invited older residents from Largs to enjoy a complimentary visit to the Barrfields Theatre at Vikingar! Guests were collected from their homes by the community bus, enjoyed a wonderful theatre performance of “Treasure Island” and were treated to complimentary hot drinks and cake from Cafe @ Vikingar!
