We are moving all posts over to MB #29 Racing page going forward, a tribute to my son and I hope I make him proud going forward with a full season racing with no limits endurance/solo racing with a few Scottish meetings thrown in,
I’m training hard and back to Spain tomorrow for more testing and bike time. FB wouldn’t let us change the name over.

Mixed emotions this weekend at Knockhill for the last meeting of the year in the Scottish superbikes class.
Saturday warm up and qualifying went well qualifying 3rd but knew I had a tough task with the guys behind me for the racing,
Race 1 finished fourth and my lack of bike racing let me down tbh, same in race 2, 4th place, can’t seem to get off the line and will be working on that for next year.
Sunday warm up went well with a 52 dead and that set myself up nicely for the two races
Unfortunately after a terrible start again but after the first lap I was setting my personal best laps every lap and caught up to 3rd place only to tuck the front at McIntyres on the 7th lap, I’m ok and bikes not that bad,
Gutted tbh but going in the right direction I suppose,
50 second lap times next year 🙈
Only two race meetings completed this year and I was technically semi retired to concentrate on the obvious so I can’t complain really.
My Other bike is off to Spain for the winter so hopefully I will get some laps in and looking forward to Jerez in two weeks,
It’s been a tough weekend but big hugs to my wife for supporting me and letting me ride lol
everyone at knockhill Dennis/Gemma and staff and all the fellow racers, families and friends for the support. Amy smith for the photos 👊

R3 at red lodge British mini bikes
Well where do I start with this weekend,
Hardest weekend I’ve ever done in racing and I wasn’t on a bike.
140cc bike never missed a beat and millar ran all races with a fifth, sixth, seventh place,
Tried two other engines with same issue on millars other 140cc but nothing top end, stumped with issue as even the dyno guys where scratching there heads, he did really well and happy with his progress,
Ohvale 160cc
Extremely fast rider group which there’s only nine riders and Millar is trying hard, bike issues, blown engine, two new carbs, back to old carb, suspension issue, tyres over inflated with heat but managed to sort everything out for last race where Millar went two seconds a lap quicker and totally happy with his progress, so proud of him
Dad needing a retirement home after that weekend,
Ps iPhone maps are crap, knackered dad at wheel and A66 closed, 45 min diversion,
Thx firstly to Pat for helping me this weekend and especially with engine change in a record of 45 mins, first time for me
Sponsors, rapid motorcycles, Simon from ohvale,

On our way for round 3 at the British mini bikes at red lodge, massive thx to Patryk at Rapid motorcycles Motherwell for a fantastic service and speedy turnaround, Millars wearing his new racing logo so a big thx to Amy for the design and Homefront Falkirk for the quick turnaround . Hopefully the traffic isn’t too bad, millars good company though and plenty chat, NOT 🤣

Mixed weekend results at crail for millar, new engines fitted to both bikes and one was leaking oil straight off from the first session on Saturday, Sundays race
Mixed dry/wet conditions on qualifying in which Millar crashed but managed fourth, race one started raining on slicks and again he crashed and couldn’t continue
race two started from 10th and it started spitting with rain again millar slowed up too much and finished fourth
Race three millar finished second with the weather staying dry, obviously disappointing weekend but will take away some learning outcomes from the mixed conditions, ie tyre choices
Busy week ahead getting bikes ready for the weekend and round three BMB the following weekend at red lodge 💪👊🤞
