I spent almost 30 years leading businesses before completing my ILM Level 7 in executive coaching. One of the biggest lessons was that the relationship matters
as much as the process does.
A coach does not need to have worked in your sector or walked exactly the same path.
But you do need to trust them.
You need to feel able to open up properly, knowing they will challenge you when required and hold you accountable when your own thinking gets in the way.
That chemistry cannot be manufactured.
And if it is not there, the right decision may simply be to choose someone else.
Save this if it made you think, and repost if someone else might value it.
Do you think chemistry matters?
