Building your booty… what does it take? 🍑
Let’s take a look at my lovely client Amelia, who wanted to build strength and muscle across her physique, particularly in her glutes
Besides exercise selection, a huge factor in this is configuring the right diet to enable this growth to take place - something Amelia had always struggled with
With an inconsistent work schedule and naturally low appetite, it was difficult for Amelia to fuel herself with enough food to actually build the physique she desired
… which is where coach Lara came in 😏
By gradually increasing Amelia’s calories over time, she successfully gained around 9kg by the end of her bulk, at which point she was actually rather distraught about the thought of having to cut calories down (despite previously being able to eat fairly low calories on a day to day basis)
In the lead up to her going travelling, we focused on shedding a small amount of body fat to visibly reveal the muscle she had built during her bulk and give her physique more definition
Building muscle isn’t a quick process, so if you want to actually grow your glutes, you need to commit yourself to the process just like Amelia did. Super duper proud 🩵
