New beginner Lindy Hop classes for beginners starting Tuesday 4th April at The Wainwright Club in Blackpool.

This is in addition to the existing Thursday night classes which have grown in size with a core of dancers who are really progressing on a weekly basis and improving their skills.

Just to let you know the Wainwright has a pre-standing function this coming Thursday 2nd February which they had forgotten about. However, they suggested that I could use the room on Wednesday instead.

So i've had to move next week's class, for one week only, to Wednesday 1st February.

It would have been great if they'd told me yesterday so I could have told everyone at the class.

Hopefully, everyone will be able to make it and everything should be back to normal the following Thursday.

Sadly today I had to make a tough decision about the Tuesday class in St. Annes and close it down. The people who came were lovely, but the numbers were small and there was an absence of leaders which made it almost impossible to teach.

With the Thursday class at The Wainwright Club in central Blackpool growing week by week, it was clear where my energies and resources should be directed.

Sorry to let the St. Annes people down but my head has to rule my heart, at least for the time being.

I have a number of projects in the pipeline for later in the year including weekend workshops, social dances and new classes.

Thanks to everyone who has supported Lindy Hop Blackpool so far and l'll see you on Thursday.

Onwards & Upwards!

Robert 😀
