⚠️ IMPORTANT: Lakenheath Playing Fields Update ⚠️

After the summer drought ruined our grass, LYFC has just invested £6,000 to completely reseed the pitches. Less than two weeks in, the new grass is already looking fantastic! 🌱

To protect this investment and ensure the roots grow strong, we urgently need the community's help:

🛑 STAY COMPLETELY OFF THE PITCHES for the next 4 weeks. All football is officially cancelled until October.

🐕 NO DOGS ON THE PITCHES. Dogs running across the grass are causing damage to the fragile new growth.

💩 CLEAN UP AFTER PETS. Please always pick up your dog's poo and use the provided bins.

Thank you all for your patience and for helping us ensure the kids have a top-quality surface to play on in October!

Looking for a fun, friendly way for your child to get involved in football? Join us at Lakenheath Playing Fields!

💚 Open Training
👦 Ages 5–8 | 🕙 10:00am – 11:00am

A great opportunity for young players to develop skills, build confidence, make new friends, and—most importantly—have fun with our FA qualified coaches.

🩷 Wildcats Girls' Football
👧 Girls aged 5–8 | 🕙 10:00am – 11:00am

Our Wildcats sessions are packed with fun games, football activities, and plenty of smiles in a welcoming environment designed specifically for girls.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our sessions so far. It has been fantastic seeing so many children enjoying their football and developing week after week! 💚
