Another hugely positive performance from the boys on Saturday despite a difficult result against a very strong AM Soccer Croatia side ๐โฝ
With only one substitute available and temperatures rising throughout the morning, the boys knew they were in for a tough test. They responded brilliantly, producing an excellent first-half performance full of energy, determination, and teamwork. The lads worked incredibly hard both on and off the ball and created several good opportunities, with chances that could easily have seen them take the lead.
Defensively, the team remained organised and disciplined, frustrating a talented opposition for long periods and showing just how far they have come as a group. The effort, commitment, and attitude on display throughout the first half were outstanding and a real credit to every player on the pitch ๐ช
As the game progressed, the demands of playing with such a limited squad naturally began to take their toll, and AM Soccer Croatia were able to take advantage. Despite this, the boys never gave up and continued to create positive moments in the second half, showing great character and resilience right until the final whistle.
A special mention must go to our goalkeepers. Dominic started the game in goal and produced some excellent saves before unfortunately suffering a wrist injury that forced him to come off. Blair then stepped in and did a fantastic job, making a number of important saves and continuing the high standard set by Dominic. Both boys showed great bravery and commitment for the team, and they should be extremely proud of their performances ๐๐งค
Everyone at Kirkcaldy FC 2014s Colts would also like to wish Dominic a speedy recovery from his wrist injury. We hope to see him back enjoying his football again as soon as possible ๐ช๐ดโช
A big thank you to AM Soccer Croatia for a competitive and enjoyable game. They played some excellent football and showed why they are such a good side. We wish them all the very best for the rest of the season ๐

There are so many positives for the boys to take from Saturdays performance. The improvement in confidence, teamwork, and overall play continues to shine through each week, and the display showed just how much progress the squad is making. Weโll take these positives into training and continue working hard as we look ahead to the next challenge ๐ดโช
