This September, 9 of our Kippax Welfare U12 Girls are taking on their first fundraising challenge to help get them to the Rhinos Challenge at Butlin’s, Skegness! 🏉🌊

📍 Kippax ➡️ Skegness = 104 miles

The girls will work together to walk, run, cycle or swim all 104 miles throughout September – and we need your help to get every mile sponsored!

A massive well done to 6 of our U14s who played in a pathway game for Wakefield Trinity today over in Wigan.

The games were a mixture of U14 and U15s and the games pitted our lads against some of the best unsigned talent in the Wigan area.

The boys all done amazing and represented the club proudly. Well done fellas 🟢🟡

Ahead of tonights Wigan vs Hull Kr game we remember and celebrate the life of Sir Billy Boston.

A true rugby league legend, a trailblazer, and an inspiration to generations. His talent, courage and contribution to the game will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts are with Sir Billy’s family, friends and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

🚌💚💛 CLUB BUS – NATIONAL SHIELD PLAY-OFFS 💛💚💛

We’re looking at putting on a proper Kippax club day out for our National Shield play-off trip to Cumbria on Saturday 19th September, when we take on Seaton Rangers.

The bus will most likely leave Kippax Welfare around 9:00am, giving us plenty of time to make a day of it before returning to Kippax late that evening.

We’ve got a few different coach-size options available, and it all depends on the level of interest, so we need to get an idea of numbers before committing to the right size bus.

💷 Estimated price: £10 per person
👨‍👩‍👧 Adults & children – same price
🎟 First come, first served
💳 NO PAYMENT REQUIRED YET

All we need at this stage is a confirmation of interest and the number of seats you would potentially require.

This is the NCRL National Shield Play-Offs – Group E, and we want to make it a proper club day out, with as many Kippax supporters as possible making the journey to Cumbria to get behind the lads.

🟢🟡 18-MAN SQUAD | HULL DOCKERS AWAY

🏉 Hull Dockers v Kippax Welfare

Despite injuries affecting the squad for most of the season, the coaches have benefited from a more settled group over the past three games, with only minimal changes from week to week—and Saturday is no different.

A couple of players miss out after picking up injuries last weekend, but we welcome a couple back into the fold as we head to Hull with another strong 18-man squad.

The boys are determined to finish the regular season on a high before attention turns to the National Shield play-offs, which begin on Saturday 5th September.

Good luck to all 18 lads pulling on the Kippax shirt—let’s finish our inaugural NCRL league campaign strongly! 💚💛

🏉 MATCH DAY | NCRL ROUND 18 HULL DOCKERS AWAY

This Saturday, the Kippax boys travel to Hull Dockers ARLFC 1880 for the final league game of our inaugural NCRL season before attention turns to the National Shield play-offs.

We enjoyed a strong result when the two sides met at Longdike Lane earlier in the season, but the boys know that previous results count for nothing once the whistle blows. We’ll travel to Hull focused on producing another committed and professional performance.

The aim is to finish our league campaign positively, build some momentum and prepare ourselves for the knockout rugby still to come.

If you can make the journey, come along and get behind the boys for one final league fixture before the National Shield play-offs begin! 💚💛

Full time at post office road sees Kippax run out 56-0 victors against a spirited and fully committed Normanton Knights ARLFC side. Absolute credit to the Normy lads who never gave up and stuck together - good luck for the rest of the season and next season.

The most pleasing aspect of the game is the 0 on the scoreboard but attention turns to next week and then the Shield Play offs.
