NATIONAL SCHOOLS REGATTA 2026

The past weekend had our junior squad racing at taking place back at Dorney.

With all junior squads competing this weekend it was great to see a huge amount of support from parents on the bank throughout the weekend!

Friday the J14s and 15s were able to show a step on in their racing progressing from where they were at the scullery.

Saturday our J16-18s showed real intent with their approach with our big names for the day being the WJ16 girls coxed four who came away with a win in the A final! Huge congratulations to the girls and their coach Patrick Beeley.

Elsewhere the J18 men’s and women’s quads showed a step on from where they were earlier in the season and are working on building speed coming into their Henley Women’s and Henley Royal campaigns!

Congratulations to all who competed this weekend! A huge thank you to the parents and volunteers who made the weekend possible!

JIRR REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS

This weekend we had two crews from our WJ16 squad representing Thames West at the Junior interregional regatta in Nottingham. The girls had an incredible performance with both crews reaching their respective A finals:

W4- 🥈
W2- 6th

Elsewhere Otto was representing the club at Junior Trials who after a strong race in the time trial sadly missed out on a place in the A final.

Back at KRC our J14s and 15s had an internal regatta organised by our coaches. Many thanks to the parents who volunteered their time and Patrick an Olly for sorting logistics!

Yeah Kingston!
