Training came a day early this week as the girls showcased their skills in front of the camera for coach Tom’s podcast 📸
Today we started off with a quick warm up of some close control dribbling where we had to listen to instructions, wether that be switch balls with someone else, but your elbow on the ball or your nose!!
We then switched to a favourite of the girls which is Elsa and we are impressed of how all the girls footwork and skills improve every time, not to mention their decision making.
We then moved onto another favourite game which was Moana and Ariel with some great forfeits for the losing team but also meant we saw some great shots with weaker foots!
Before finishing off on a really well battled match that had it all.
Our trainers of the week are Betsy, she couldn’t wait to tell us she’s been practising at home and it certainly showed as her dribbling and shooting was outstanding, and in the match she was an absolute rock tackling anything and anyone that came near her, but also made sure she was always in space and ready to receive the ball⚽️ Betsy is sponsored by Explorer Travel Holidays by Kelsey
And Lilly, she turned up with bundles of energy and it didn’t slow down all session. With some fantastic footwork in all the games and some brilliant striking but she also showcased her team work as she came up with some great ideas to win the games.
