Back to training this evening in what felt like forever with us having a week off to rest but the girls wasted no time in getting back to it as we started off with the coaches corridor of skills where all girls got challenged to different skills as they travelled up the corridor (which they all absolutely smashed) and back down the corridor they expressed themselves with whatever skills they wanted too. We then finished off with work my on some accurate passes, while our team mate was running backwards and controlling the ball⚽️ unfortunately the weather called an end to the session 10 minutes early.

Our trainer of the week went to Indi, we are used to seeing a Roy Keane type performance from Indi but today it was more Ronaldinho. Some great flair on show! Pulling all sorts of skills out the bag but also keeping her ball under control at all times⚽️ Indi is sponsored by LDC Driving School: Kristian Stork

Our next trainer of the week goes to Lucy, again some absolutely fantastic ball control and skills on show! Especially her ball rolls and change of direction, enough to get any defender in a spin. Her passing was also pin point for her team mate⚽️ Lucy is sponsored by Vive Le Vélo

And that’s an official wrap on our first ever season as a team🔥 Already made some great memories while watching all the girls grow so much as individuals and as a team. Some absolute super stars and any one of them can go as far as they want in football⚽️

Another Fantastic evening down at Bude park where all the girls turned up full of energy with an amazing attitude even after a busy football filled weekend 🔥

The girls picked our warm up today and of course they picked the all time favourite Elsa, then we moved onto some races. Looking at the difference between dribbling and running with the ball and incorporated both into some nice quick relay races with some of them having a little twist to get the girls thinking. We then finished with some small sided games with the main objective to stay in space and available for a pass but also for the players on the ball to make the right decision, if that is passing, running with the ball or dribbling ⚽️

Our trainer of the week goes to Hallie, I’ll have whatever she had for breakfast today as she was on fire! Showing amazing progression with her close control and showing great bursts of speed getting the ball out of her feet! The other trainer of the week went to Isla, as always Isla dazzled with her dribbling ability but her communication and team work to help her friends improve stood out. When it came to the match she was challenged to get more passes off which she managed to do which led to a few goals for her team! At the end of the session we wound down with a game of Queen of the goal where Isla made some great saves but also managed to find the top cornier a few times ⚽️ Isla is sponsored by Explorer Travel Holidays by Kelsey

Just about recovered from the weekend😴

From Amaiahs penalty to Ivys crunching tackles what a weekend it was and every game had it all. Lots of fun and memories made while challenging ourselfs against some strong teams from across the country including a few academies.
Huge shoutout to Emily from Kingswood United Valkyries for helping us out in hot conditions.
And another shoutout to self proclaimed Mini coach Betsy who made the big trip to come cheer on the girls when injured.

Match day!!

Today is the start of a busy weekend of football as we head down to the ERFAC to play in the East Riding Girls Football League Football festival before we head to the Filey cup tournament tomorrow ⚽️

Busy evening down at Kinloss!!
Great to see the pitch filled with so many girls playing football ⚽️
Tonight’s training session continued on from previous weeks where we looked at defending as a team and attacking the space while using our team mates!! The girls when attacking showed some great special awareness when off the ball which led to some great goals but the defenders was really strong moving as a unit and really getting stuck in, some great battles.
We then finished off with a game of Queen of the goal where it was last girl standing on taking first time shots ⚽️

Our trainer of the week goes to Lilly, throughout the session she displayed great footwork and the ability to find the back of the net, but also showed that she’s a fantastic team mate as we had Florence down from the wildcats and Lilly didn’t hesitate to make her feel welcome and her with the games. Lilly finished the session also as Queen of the goal⚽️ Lilly is sponsored by HW Yorkshire Plumbing
