Hugely busy weekend at the track - we hope everyone enjoyed it! These first few weeks will be the busiest - eventually it will calm down and find its natural rhythm in terms of participation and age use.

A few quick reminders:

Please ensure you wear safety equipment when participating - at a minimum a helmet but please consider pads too.

Wait your turn - queue on the waiting area and go when it’s clear ahead of you. Jumping the queue can cause issues with the users already on the track.

Complete a full lap - stopping half way through holds up everyone behind you. Think traffic jams!

Always be kind and considerate of other users - there are mixed abilities using the track at the same time. Be aware of others around you and ride accordingly.

The nearest car park is across the water on the Quay near the Sports Centre and skatepark. Please don’t park in the private car park opposite the track. For those having difficulty finding the pump track, it’s at the recreation ground, post code TQ7 1JN.

Please push your bikes/scooters to the track once you are in the park - there is a play park next door with young members of the community enjoying themselves. Chicane barriers will be in place either side soon to help protect our toddlers.

Remember to hydrate and wear sunscreen 😅

Most importantly have fun! Ride within your ability but push yourselves to be better in small increments. If you need riding advice ask a more skilled rider - they are always happy to help and love seeing users progress!

🎉 Your Pump Track is now OPEN! 🎉

The brilliant team at Forte Trailscapes have absolutely smashed it again, delivering a fantastic pump track that’s ready for the whole community to enjoy. Check out Kingsbridge Mayor Julia Wingate riding the park for the first time under the watchful eye of PCSO Tom.

A huge thank you to Kingsbridge Town Council for their continued commitment to free-to-use community facilities. The councillors backed this project from day one and supported it every step of the way as it navigated the many hoops, hurdles and challenges involved in bringing a project like this to life.

A big shout out also goes to South Hams District Council and our elected councillors. Rob and the team played a key role in helping deliver the project to a high standard, ensuring everything met the safety requirements expected of a public play facility.

Now all that’s left to do is grab your bike, scooter or skateboard and enjoy it. See you on the track!

Almost there… the track is nearly complete and looks even better than we imagined!

We’re now just days away from opening and can’t wait to see the community enjoying this rad little track for years to come.

If all goes to plan, we’re aiming for a middle of next week opening. We know it’s going to be tough seeing it so close to being ready during a scorching weekend, but we really appreciate your patience while we put the finishing touches in place and make sure everything is perfect. 💪
