Just love when the sun is shining although there was some black clouds 🤣🙈 Riding George and volunteering will keep me busy through the summer until I begin year 2 of my University degree.

I’m incredibly lucky to have George and ride most days and also the amazing people I get to spend time with when volunteering and those I see at Avonmill Equestrian who are all so supportive ❤️💪

He did decide to christen his new summer rug 🤣🤣🙈🙈

So proud and happy to be nominated and a finalist of an SVE volunteering award in the Young Volunteer category. I was also one of a select few young people who received a certificate for hitting 200 Saltire volunteering hours.

Volunteering is rewarding and special and hearing the stories from the individuals and groups that do so much quietly behind the scenes to help and support others is awe inspiring and the winners and nominees are all amazing.

The event was fantastic and my group Equipower were also a finalist in another category ❤️

If you ever think you could spare some time to help others, do it!!! You won’t regret it and you’ll enrich and support the lives of others.

First year of my Business Equine Management degree is officially done!!!

Now a summer ahead of riding, volunteering and securing as much of my RDA & Boccia coaching certificates as I can. I’ve had online tutorials, face to face sessions and best of all I get to work with other people with disabilities, helping them like I was when I was younger. It feels great to hopefully inspire and encourage others into sport and also to join and work with the various groups and panels out there. By doing this you get to meet other people, learn about other’s experiences and challenge yourself. If you’re in any doubt, give sport a go and get involved with the various organisations out there, you won’t regret it 💚
