Inch Farm Kincardine, FK10 4AH (map in pictures)
Cost £15 for annual membership plus £2 per dog to race each week
The Beagles are split into groups of 3/4, they race down a straight enclosed track between 100-170yards, chasing a motorised lure (the length varies each week). They run in heats, semi finals then finals. This ensures each beagle gets a good few runs. There is also a grand nati
onal at the end, which is a free for all. If anyone wants extra racing to tire their beagles out more runs can be arranged but this is limited due to the whippets who race after the beagles. Some weeks there may be points racing for KC registered members (non members and NON KC registered dogs still welcome to race) or racing may be handicapped by weight. Other weeks it will be dogs and bi***es running separately a chance for all to win! RULES
*ALL beagles must be muzzled to race. (the club have a few muzzles but if you have one please bring it along)
*All dogs must be on a SHORT lead at all times, *NO LONG OR FLEXI LEADS!
*Dogs not kept on a lead will be fined £5 by the Scottish thistle pedigree whippet racing club (accidental runaways are the exception)
*All dog mess must be picked up and put in bins provided
*You need 2 people to race, one to release and once to catch although we all help each other out if this is not possible.
*Beagles must be 1year or over to race however their are exceptions depending on the size and age of your beagle.
*The Winner of each race must bring the lure back down the track, if you are not carrying the lure, do NOT walk back down the track.
*Leads MUST be removed while racing, no exceptions.
*Bi***es in season should be left at home. These rules are for you and your beagles safety but most of all it is about our beagles having fun. Each week this page will be updated with the race results and photos. Toilet facilities and snack van on site.
