THANK YOU: As many of you will know, the club has been going through a period of change both on and off the park, with several long‑serving committee members and volunteers stepping down and new Buffs‑minded people stepping forward to help.

During this transition, it’s become even clearer just how much certain individuals have quietly done for the club over the years — our former chairman, Colin Evans can’t be beaten, his own and his families’ commitment, dedication and effort has kept the club going. Colin and his family put more into the club than anyone realised and we can’t thank him enough for his commitment & leadership.

One other person who gave nothing but 100% commitment and was often taken for granted is Ben Grant.

Ben has been the driving force behind KRTV for years, leading our media team, stepping up as Club Secretary, and supporting the club in countless other ways. Much of what he did was behind the scenes, without fuss, without fanfare, and often without people realising just how much time, effort and personal support he was giving.

Only in recent weeks has the full extent of Ben’s contribution become fully understood. He has been an unsung hero of Kilwinning Rangers, and his work has been deeply appreciated — even if not always seen.

With a new Club Secretary now in place and other key roles filled, we want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you.

To Ben, and to Lauren Grant, who has also given so much of her time and support, we are truly grateful. You will both be missed, and we wish you nothing but the very best for the future. Thank you for everything.

The Club is now looking for additional matchday media volunteers — especially a videographer and photographer — to help capture the action and support our growing digital output.

With WD & P developing our new website and social channels, and a brilliant young reporter providing match updates, we’re in a great place… but we need a few more hands to keep pushing forward.

If you love football, media, or just being part of the matchday buzz, drop us a message. You’ll be made very welcome.

Kilwinning Rangers FC – Exploring a New FFIT Team for the Warriors League.

We’re looking at something special for the community, and we’d love to hear your thoughts.

Kilwinning Rangers FC are exploring the idea of forming our very own FFIT (Football Fans in Training) team to take part in the Warriors League – a league built for adults who want to improve their physical and mental wellbeing through football.

This isn’t about ability.
It’s not about weight, shape, or fitness levels.
It’s simply about people who want to enjoy the game in a supportive, judgement‑free environment.

And we believe North Ayrshire deserves to be represented.

Who would this team be open to?

* Anyone with a BMI over 30
* Anyone with a 38-inch waist or above
* Anyone who’s been struggling a bit with their mental health and wants a positive, welcoming space
* Men and women who want to get fitter, feel better, and be part of something uplifting

The Warriors League is built on respect, encouragement, and improving at your own pace. It’s football with purpose – and it genuinely changes lives.

Before we move forward with league requirements, vetting games, and SFA registration, we want to hear from YOU.

👉 Would you be interested in joining a Kilwinning Rangers FFIT team as a player, coach, manager or committee member?

👉 Would this benefit you or someone you know?

👉 Should the Buffs take this forward for the community?

If interested please contact Raymond McLaren on
