Hyrox photo dump. Some crackers in here - always smile for the camera! 😂

Bit of time to reflect on the event and it was awesome. Still really chuffed with hitting my goal but the drive to improve never stops. We will be back and we will be stronger and faster 💪🏻

Target was sub 1:15 and I came away with a 1:14:12 which I’m chuffed with 😊
Lots to improve on (wall balls!) but overall really pleased with the result.
Massive shout to to my wee support crew keeping me going throughout ❤️

Hyrox singles SIM today . A really well run event so kudos to the team.
Came away with a 1:11:16 which I’m pretty happy with for a first time doing a full singles run out. Time to lock in for in three weeks 💪🏻

Goal Setting Process I follow to make sure I stick to my plan and give myself the best chance of success!

Step 1 - Create a vision of who it is you want to be by the end of the year. Ask yourself what kind of person you want to be and make sure this has deep meaning for you and a clear “why”.

Step 2 - Create SMART goals (as many as you like however would recommend 3-5). Make them Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant (tied to your vision), and Timebound.

Step 3 - Now create a list of actions you need to take to achieve your goals.

Step 4 - Now drill down even further and create a list of things you need to do every day and week to take you towards your goals. These are the habits you need to do every day.

Step 5 - set 30 mins each month to review your progress against your daily habits and if you are moving towards your goals. If something has changed then tweak your goals. This is absolutely fine as long as you are still moving towards your vision of who you want to be.

Hope that helps you create goals for 2026 that you can go and smash! 💪🏻🔥

Top 5 fat loss priorities in order of importance;

1. Calorie deficit - use an online calorie calculator, enter your details and take 500 away from the maintenance calories it gives you to calculate your deficit. Track your food (using an app) to hit this as an average across the week.

2. Protein - aim for 1.6-2g/kg of body weight in protein. This will help keep you full when eating less and help you retain/build muscle.

3. Sleep - get 7-9 hours each night. Go to bed and get up at roughly the same time each day. Sleep is really important for recovery and energy through the day.

4. General Activity - increase general activity and your step count (track these) as much as you can.

5. Exercise - Try to do a mix of weights and cardio if you can but if not just find something you enjoy that gets you moving and you can do on a consistent basis each week.

So I thought I better share a bit about myself now this page is up and running.

I’m Craig and I’m from Scotland. I’m 37 and married with a five year old daughter and a sixteen year old stepson. We also have a cat and a dog, so the house is never quiet. I work full time as a program manager for a large international company and most days start before the sun comes up (not hard in the Scottish winter!). Family, work and exercise all battle for time, so I know first hand what it’s like to try and fit it all in.

Fitness genuinely has changed my life over the last few years. I have lost weight, become stronger and built routines that feel solid but most of all have a new found confidence in myself. None of it came from perfect weeks, 2 hour gym sessions, or only eating chicken and broccoli. It came from being consistent with small steps that fit into my life. That is the reason I am working towards my PT qualification. I want to help people who feel the same way I did at the start, busy, unsure where to begin, tired of trying things that never last or confused with all the bu****it on social media.

My goal is simple - to help people build habits that stay in place when life throws s**t at you. To help people understand training and nutrition without confusion. To help people feel proud of their progress and confident they can keep it going. Education will be the core of what I do because if you understand the process, you have much more chance of staying in control.

I will be launching Craig Ingham Fitness in 2026. Until then, I will use this page to share simple guidance and advice. Training ideas, nutrition basics and mindset support that help you move forward without needing huge time or effort.

Thanks for being here. I hope you follow along.
