What a day we had today.
First up we had Myleigh as usual. Were working solely on developing her game awareness building on her strengths and strengthening her weaknesses. Myleigh puts everything into each session and is a joy to coach. We can see the benefits already with the strength and accuracy of her passing game. 👏👏
Next up we had Maxx. We previously put up that Maxx had suffered low confidence prior to coming to us but weve seen vast improvements. SO today i invited my wee sidekick Andrew King (2015 Shortlees Utd) along to work alongside Maxx to see how he would cope. It worked exactly as i thought with Maxx being spurned on by Andrews confidence and encouragement. He had his best session to date and left a happy boy. I, however finished with sore ears because as much of a bonus Andrew is! He just never shuts up 🙈😂.
Next up was the long awaited debut of Hollie 🙈 nobody was sure how this was going to go (for the record she plays for my Girls team and lets just say we clash a lot 😂😂) However, this girl went out and nailed it and smiled i had to continually pinch myself!!! Lol all joking aside Hollie has so much potential that its scary. Her powerful running and her pacey shot is there to be exploited and i was proud (there i said it dont get used to it 🙈) of how she trained. Keep an eye out for her story i guarantee it will be entertaining 👏👏
A wee last minute cancellation allowed me an hour to recoup before Marc entered the scene. Hes the one on the ground in photo below lol regretting saying this is easy. We worked on marks long range passing and shooting today. Currently without a team Marc is working hard to improve every part of his game including attitude and effort and i cannot fault him so far.
Next up Jamie Lee, weve set up a programme for this kid to a) build confidence, b) get fitter c) improve her overall game. JL is the girl in the other photos whose airborne through the hurdles. Weve set a pace and a timeframe and shes rolling with it and were delighted.
Last but not least today wee Faith whom unfortunately had her session cut short today due to torrential rain (no charge for session) she got a good 25 minutes in and im telling everyone this girl is to be watched.
