Crosshouse 1 - 0 Troon FC
Today the boys welcomed Troon FC to Lindsay Park, we anticipated that it was going to be a tough game from the start, especially with three players missing from the squad this week.
The boys started strongly, and within the first 15 minutes we found ourselves awarded a penalty. Kayden stepped up and calmly placed it into the bottom corner to give us a 1-0 lead. ⚽️
After that, the game became more challenging and Troon created some good opportunities. However, the boys stayed disciplined, particularly in midfield and defence, and worked hard to keep Troon at bay.
At half-time, the coaches’ message was simple — stay disciplined, keep working hard and keep getting shots away.
The second half saw the boys pick things back up, and the game remained 1-0 for the rest of the match. As the final whistle approached, Troon pushed everyone forward looking for an equaliser, so we changed our shape to five at the back and dug deep to see the game out.
