Birkmyre Rugby Birkmyre Rugby Football Club formed in 1976 is based in Kilmacolm, Inverclyde. We welcome players of all experience levels & ages to join our growing club.

Since our formation in 1976 Birkmyre Rugby Club has gone from strength to strength and continues to progress successfully at senior and now junior levels. Our senior 1st XV play in West Regional League Division 3 and we have a thriving junior section playing regular fixtures against all the large clubs in the West of Scotland. With both a backs and forwards coach, new floodlighting, superb changin

g rooms and access to a fantastic gym. Birkmyre offers its members everything the modern rugby player could need or want to play well and succeed. Birkmyre also provides a social calendar second to none and with our main sponsor The River Inn, we provide first class hospitality for all out visiting senior teams. From golf outings to our famous Xmas Ball, the club is a cornerstone to the local community. We are committed to the development of youth rugby at the club with over 150 junior members and 29 coaches. This section ranges from age 5-16. Birkmyre Rugby Club Wants You!

We are on the look out for new players to join our squad in our 50th Anniversary season.

We are seeking players in all positions and although previous rugby experience is preferred, it is not critical.

If you think you might be interested, send a message to the page for simply come along to Birkmyre Park on a Thursday evening when we are running summer touch rugby sessions at 7pm.

All players of the club will be eligible to attend our Bordeaux Tour in Spring 2027 (subject to cost)

Summer Touch Rugby returns TONIGHT at Birkmyre Park.

Open to all, players and non-players including teenagers approx 15+.

Sessions are informal and will start at approximately 7pm and run for 60-90 mins.

Definitely not.

But if we were........

You'd be joining a club who are celebrating their 50th Anniversary this season.

A squad who are looking to challenge for promotion into West Division 1.

A squad with a work hard, play hard attitude and a great social side.

Access to our shared club house at Kilmacolm Bowling Club , with Bowling Club prices.

Birkmyre held its AGM on Saturday night at Kilmacolm Bowling Club. The revised format was a great success at our clubhouse.

During the night the awards were presented. Unfortunately, not all the prize winners were able to attend however here is a list of the winners:-

* Player of the Year - Michael McGeoch
* Try King - Cammy Marr
* Young Player of the Year - Lucas Reid
* Most Improved Player - Alex McKay
* Social Animal - Ali Peacock
* Mr Birkmyre - Stuart Cruickshank
* D**k of the Year - Owen Nicholas

Captains & Vice-Captains were also appointed which will be covered separately.
