As our current manager will be stepping away due to family commitments, we're seeking a new manager to lead the ladies team moving into the 26/27 season!

We are currently playing in the Cornwall women's League Premier Division, we also enter various Cups including the FA Cup 🏆

It's a fantastic opportunity to get involved in an established team with a good balance of fun & ambition as well as being part of a great club with a supportive & hard working committee.

If you are interested in the role or would like to know more please get in touch via social media or email [email protected]

Message from Manager Al:

"After a lot of consideration, I have made the difficult decision to step down as Manager of Kilkhampton Ladies FC.

I am no longer able to give the role the time and commitment it deserves, and I feel now is the right time to step aside.
There's so much I could say but I have kept this as short as possible!

I would like to thank all of the players for their hard work & support during my time as manager. It has been a pleasure to lead such a great group of ladies,
I am extremely proud of what we have achieved together in our first 2 years at Kilk. Winning the league, getting promoted and reaching back-to-back cup finals are highlights that will stay with me and are a credit to everyone involved.

I would also like to thank the club for their continued support throughout my time in the role. The backing I have received from the committee & everyone connected with the club has been greatly appreciated.

While I am stepping down as manager, I'm hoping to continue as a player in a more relaxed role.

As we prepare for the 2026/27 season, we are now looking for a new manager to take over from me, further information to follow.

Thank you again to everyone who has been part of the fun, and I wish the team and the club every success moving forward 🫶🏼"

Message from Captain George-

"We'd like to thank Alice for her hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the team, even when she's only had three hours of sleep! we look forward to seeing more of you on the pitch, and you getting more time to enjoy being with baby Kit🫶🏼 you will always be the person that kick started our Kilk journey and we will always be grateful for that❤️🖤"

End of season awards ✨

A great night with the whole club, a time for all 3 teams to get together & celebrate the season's achievements.
A few missing faces that unfortunately couldn't make it, but we ensured we danced on their behalf.

The ladies settled into the premier division following the league win & promotion last year. We also made it to our 2nd consecutive Masons Kings Cup Final. The team have learnt & grown together and we look forward to getting stuck in again for the 26/27 season!

Awards winners:

Most improved- Niamh went from hoofing and hoping to a staple part of the team with a no nonsense approach.

Top goalscorer-
Bex, not only was she our top goal scorer but she's an assist machine!

Young player of the season-
Jemima, has been absolutely class for us this, just when you think no one is getting there she comes out of nowhere!

Supporters player-
Lou, rightly recognised by our supporters. She's been a thorn in the side of the opposition all season.

Players player-
Han, always reliable, always dependable. Help is always on the way with our very own Mrs Doubtfire!

Managers Player-
Iz, last seasons young player of the year & has grown into her role. Part time left back, part time brick wall

Donkey of the season-
Gabs, Back to back Donkey of the season winner, providing entertainment & performances 🫏

Thank you for all your support this season, long may it continue 🫶🏼
A huge thank you to our kit sponsors, all at the club for giving us a place to belong.

Kilk 1 Newquay 3
Our second cup final in two seasons, a great achievement in itself💪🏼

We started strongly despite the heat, and took the lead with a great Caz header on the end of a Bex corner🙌🏼

Newquay equalised, making the score 1-1 going into half time.

The second half we came out fighting yet again, with tackles and blocks flying in, the defence staying super strong against the Newquay attack. We worked well up the wings with Jem getting crosses into the box we just couldn't get on the end of.

As we pushed forwards to try and grab a winner, unfortunately Newquay hit us on the break and scored two more goals before the final whistle.

A display to be absolutely proud of💪🏼

A big thank you to our travelling support, we loved the noise and we hope we did kilk proud🫶🏼

POTM: Emily for causing havoc on the wing and extra points for the havoc on the sidelines 👑

DOTD: Gabs for slide tackling thin air on several occasions then trying to pass on the award to Jem for a handball 🫏

Also shout out to Iz and her family for cutting their family holiday short to come back for the game, that's commitment 🫶🏼

Thanks for a great game & our congratulations goes to Newquay Ladies afc 👏🏼

Now we rest and look forward to celebrating with the club on Saturday for our End of season dinner.

We had no game on Sunday, however our Full back Niamh, the queen of no nonsense went out and completed the Plymouth Half Marathon 🥳

She has been training hard outside of football for it & sensibly rested for the last couple of games so she could make sure she was ready.
We are very proud of her! But we are pleased to have her back for the cup final 👏🏼
