🦅 Opening Game this morning for the girls starting with a difficult game against Sky Blues in the Community 💪 Probably the best footballing team we have ever come across to their credit!

We started very well going 1-0 up with a great finish by Ellie. Sky Blues were very persistent with progressive passes going forward which quickly led to an equaliser. Karolina got us back in front but again we didn't maintain some fundamentals within our play and against teams like the Sky Blues you get punished. They netted another three goals, to see us 4-2 down.
Annabelle's delivery was excellent from a corner for Hannah to touch the ball into the net for the game to end 4-3.

⭐POTM went TO OLIVIA ⭐ Olivia was brilliant defensively today! She got on the end of every first and second ball and really put her body on the line for her team. She attempted to remain vocal with her teammates and pushed us all on 👏

It was a difficult start for the girls but we believe in them and we know they will bounce back from this result. There is no shame in loosing to a team like Sky Blues! We battled to the end and was in the game throughout.
We will go again next week against Kewford Eagles, where the girls will come back stronger and learn 💪

🦅Pre Season Friendly⚽

This morning we travelled to Coventry against Coventry City Blue!
A nice sunny morning and the girls seemed in high spirits keen to get back to the action after the summer break!

It was definitely shaping up to be a warm one but the girls were looking in brilliant shape, domination position and playing brilliant football. Coventry had one attempt at goal early first half and managed to start the scoring but we remained calm and continued with the same intensity working hard for eachother and quickly gained control again! They really came together and worked as a team 💪
The whole team looked well organised from front to back, key too this was the communication, it was the best yet!
Goals came from Annabelle getting a hatrick, a well taken penalty by Isobelle and a debut goal for Eva secured a 5-1 win against a really well drilled team!
We want to thank SBITC for the opportunity and wish them the best for the season and will see them in our league campaign very soon.
