The mixed 1st team had their first summer match of the season at Eastwood. With 9 rounds of games to play for, the team were 4-2 down going into the last round. Prospects of a win seemed an ask too much...but anything can happen in tennis and after 3 close games, 2 of them going to the wire with tie-breaks, the team pulled it out the bag a 5-4 victory overall. 👏🎾

FREE Open Day Saturday 16th May. Open to everyone.
FREE Coaching with Level 4 LTA accredited coach Patrick Smith.
Sessions as follows
2pm Junior Red 5-8yrs
3pm Junior Orange 8-10 yrs
4pm Junior Yellow 11-18 yrs
Courts will also be free for open play, and even to give Pickleball a go. Equipment can be borrowed.

We introduced Pickleball at Keyworth last year and it’s proved to be a big success. We now have 2 regular social session...

We introduced Pickleball at Keyworth last year and it’s proved to be a big success. We now have 2 regular social sessions Wednesday 7pm and Saturday 9.30am, have painted permanent court lines on Court 4, are holding our first Match and Meal next week and planning matches against other Clubs.
Open to members and non-members (who will need to pay £5 guest fee per session). If you are a total beginner look out for news of future taster sessions.

Tennis & Baseball match & meal was a great success last night. It was won by the National League team captained by Sandy who was presented with our new Brian Lund memorial trophy by Mary Lund. Everyone enjoyed a stadium food meal of nachos, hot dogs and a rather spectacular strawberry dessert.
Thanks to Nigel for organising and even bringing baseball stadium music with him.
