A very proud moment today as our Thrapston FC Girls Under 8/9s travelled to Cambourne Town FC’s tournament and came away with a fantastic 3rd place finish 🥉💙

The girls were brilliant from start to finish, showing great teamwork, determination and plenty of smiles along the way.

A huge well done to all the players, coaches and parents involved.

The future of girls’ football at Thrapston FC is definitely in good hands 💙

This promising young group put in another brilliant performance today at the Geddington Jamboree and came away as tournament Winners.

The biggest football event of summer 2026 is underway, no not the World Cup, it’s Our summer tournament and it’s in full flow with the U7s, 9s & 12s playing this morning before we welcome the U8s, 10s & 11s this afternoon.

A massive Thankyou to all our sponsors and volunteers for making this happen.

We had a brilliant day on Saturday for our end of season presentation, where our Town Mayor handed all of the children from our Clinic, our girls pathway and u7-u12s their end of season awards.

There were outside activities, free food for all the players and I’m sure a parent or two took advantage of the bar in the clubhouse.

There’s still some football to play before the summer break but we already can’t wait to get going next season.

A massive Thankyou to everyone involved with the club. We have a brilliant community and we all love coaching your children.

Congratulations to our U8s who were crowned champions of the Finedon Volta tournament on Sunday.

Our U10s were back in action today, away to FC Aztec ⚽️
It was brilliant to see the team getting the ball down and playing it through the 3rds, just as we have been doing in training.
Millsy 🏆 was our POTM today as he was in that CDM role that didn’t get any glory but didn’t put a foot wrong and also had great communication to his team mates.

No match planned next weekend for our U10s as we have our club presentation for the girls pathway, our football clinic and the u7-u12s which is always a great day.

Then it’s the youth tournament, U7s - U12s on the 14th June

Our U10s travelled over to Leicester today to take on Stoneygate Lions FC in a friendly. A new area, new opposition and what a great match it was.
Both teams gave it their all and it was a very tight game, regardless of the warm conditions, with all players leaving the pitch knowing they’ve have done their clubs proud.
POTM went to Jacob 🏆 for his battling performance up top and he really grew into the game.

Well done to all the kids and next up is Aztecs away next weekend.

Our U10s had a friendly tonight against Peterborough United FC Devs at The Bespoke Builds Training Ground.
Another great facility and a physical game which saw both teams put in a lot of effort, some really good passing football on show with some great finishing at both ends.
Our U10s are on the road again this weekend, away in Leicester to Stoneygate FC, but not before another training session on Thursday.
