Join us for a brand new Wellbeing Walk in Rothwell, starting next Wednesday 24th June!!!!

Meets every Wednesday at 10am outside The Market House, NN14 6BW - its a relaxed pace walk for 2-3 miles/60 minutes.

Refreshments afterwards at The Rothwell Arts and Heritage Centre Tea Room.

Tomorrow (19th June) Corby East Midlands International Pool will be holding 'The Gathering' a school swimming gala between 8.30am to 3.00pm. The 25m pool will not be available during the gala. The other pools will be available for swimming.

On Thursday we met with Young Leaders from Brooke Weston Academy! The Yr9 students play a huge part of The Gathering school's gala.
This cheeky, chatty and energetic bunch are sure to bring the energy, support and confidence to the swimmers!

We've challenged this group to bring us even bigger and better dance moves than the students last year! We can't wait to see them! 💃🕺

For all the support and the key role these students play in the gala, their hours are logged towards their Young Leader Award which we're proud to contribute to!

Engage in a range of activities that promote adventure and exploration, allowing children to use their creativity and imagination.

Important message about the dangers of open water swimming. All Swimming Pools are supporting week (13th - 21st June) drop in to your local pool and find out more about water safety.

"It has come to my attention that some of our younger residents have been seen swimming in open water at The Embankment in Wellingborough this week. They were not only seen swimming in a spot which is known to pose danger, but they also appeared to be unaccompanied by an adult."

We're so excited to share that May Cardwell, our beloved dance professional and cherished member of the Corby community, has been awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) in the King's Honours for her amazing dedication to dance and her positive impact locally!

May will soon be presented with this prestigious medal by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant, James Saunders Watson, the King's representative in Northamptonshire. She'll also be invited to attend a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace—a wonderful way to celebrate with others who make a difference across the UK.

May has spent her life inspiring a love of dance, on stage and throughout the community. After a successful career in national and international dance, she was invited by the local council to lead dance classes for them.
