Last night we held our annual awards/Presentation night at Kelso Golf Club ,
Thanks to the Golf Club for hosting us at short notice and to Nicola Turnbull and the staff for putting on an excellent buffet for us all ,
The hospitality was 1st class as usual 👏
With a great turn out of parents ,players and family friends the night was a great success and a fitting end to our season,
The season itself was a long tough battle at times in a highly competitive Div 2 ,
We finished the league joint 3rd, 2 points behind the winners,
We won the Tom Wilson Cup after a great 3-1 win over KSQ Rapids
We lost out in the league Cup final 4-1 to Penicuik who deserved their win on Friday night,
But more importantly we all enjoyed the journey and following our boys all over the countryside playing with a great team spirit,
Was great to also finally sit down and get a blether to parents as when the games are in full flow it's sometimes hard to get 5 mins for a blether,
We had a good chat about the season in general and also our plans for the season ahead which will be our last season in the SERYFA League,
