Lads faced Howden today and another great game for the lads, from the back to attack the lads were excellent and worked hard throughout.
The team play was outstanding as we moved the ball quick and created an abundance of chances.
Defensively as well we’ve worked hard in training for when to use a high line and when to drop and stay solid and for large parts of the game it worked well and it’s credit to the lads for their hard work and attitude. We won the majority of midfield battles and this was key to getting the ball moving fast and getting our wingers and forwards in key positions to get chances at goal.
The game was physical and the lads really stepped up to work hard with individual battles and together as a unit!
Our coaches player of the week sponsored by Craft and Coffee was Travis, new to the team and he’s only been playing football a short while too, fit in well and today he was calm on the ball, won some big battles today and great heading ability to clear any danger well done mate!!
Well done to our parents player of the week sponsored by Just Desserts Harrison!! His flash new hairstyle turned him in to a prime Theo Hernandez he was solid defensively and didn’t give up any his battles but his overlapping and forward play was brilliant, never stopped all game well done!!
