💦 SOUTH SHIELDS… WHAT ARE YOU DOING THIS SATURDAY?! 💦

We’ve got a whole afternoon of Dinkies swimming at Harton Academy and we’d LOVE to welcome some new little swimmers! 🥰

Whether you’ve got a tiny baby ready for their very first splash, a toddler who LOVES the water, or a bigger Dinkie ready to build their confidence independently we’ve got a class for them! 🏊‍♀️💙

🐥 10–18 months — 1:30pm
🐠 18–24 months — 2:00pm
🐢 4 years — 2:30pm (adult in the pool)
🦀 12 weeks–6 months — 3:00pm
🐙 30–40 months — 3:30pm
🐟 4 years+ — 4:00pm (no adults in the pool! 🙌)

⭐ PLUS — 1:1 SWIMMING LESSONS AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT THE AFTERNOON! ⭐

Our classes are small, friendly and relaxed, with plenty of individual attention perfect for building water confidence without huge, busy groups. 💕

Lessons are just £10.50 and you can come along THIS SATURDAY!

Same songs in lessons... and at home. 🎵

Did you know the songs we sing in every Dinkies lesson aren't just for fun? They're actually doing something really clever.

Our song-and-repetition method links each swimming action to a familiar tune. So when your little one hears the song, their body already knows what comes next. No stress. No surprises. Just confidence building, one splash at a time.

And the best bit? You can keep it going at home.

Here are a few easy ways to practise between lessons 👇

🎶 Sing the bubble song at bath time and encourage them to blow on the water
🎶 Use the same words and actions your teacher uses. repetition is the magic ingredient!
🎶 Make it playful. if they giggle, it's working
🎶 Don't worry about getting it perfect. your child just needs to hear it from YOU

The pool is where it starts. Home is where it sticks. 💙

Tuesday afternoon means Dinkies swimming at Boldon Community Academy 🏊‍♀️💙

We’ve currently got spaces across a lovely range of ages:

🦆 1:00pm 13–20 months 3 spaces
🐠 1:30pm 33–39 months 2 spaces
🐢 2:00pm 3.5–4 years 3 spaces
🦀 2:30pm 23–30 months 2 spaces

Our lessons are all about building water confidence, learning through play and helping little swimmers develop skills at their own pace. 💦

We have classes running across Dinkie Den, Boldon, Sunderland, Harton and Farringdon, from tiny babies right through to independent swimmers — plus our Adults Aqua Fit too! 💦

⚠️ Some classes are already FULL or down to their last 1–2 spaces, so if you spot one that works for you, don’t hang around!

🗓️ Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and Sunday we’re in Boldon
🗓️ Friday you can find us at Everlast fitness in Sunderland
🗓️ Saturday we’re at Harton (starting the 19th September)
🗓️ Sunday Morning we’re in Farringdon, Sunderland

Our September term is a Go and the lessons we’ve had so far have been amazing!

Today is the last day of fundraising for Stu’s epic climb of Kilimanjaro!

His bags are just about packed and he’s all organised! We just need one more push on the fundraising to hit his target 🙏

We are planning to deliver our “climb a mountain” lesson to our Farringdon customers on the 6th of September and our Harton customers on the 19th September! 🏔️

Stu is always hidden behind the scenes working hard and pushing Dinkies to its greatest!

Stu is raising money for kidsoperatingroom

KidsOR is a charity that helps children in low-resource countries access safe, life-saving surgery. They build and equip specialist children’s operating rooms, train surgical teams, and provide the equipment needed so children can receive surgery close to home. ❤️

💦 OUR NEW TIMETABLE IS HERE & LIVE ONLINE TO BOOK!💦

We’re so excited to share our new Dinkies Swim School timetable for South Tyneside and Sunderland 🐠🩷

We have lessons available across Boldon, South Shields, and Sunderland, with classes suitable for babies right through to our older, more independent swimmers. 🏊‍♀️

✨ Lessons from just 12 weeks old
✨ Small, friendly classes
✨ Parent & child lessons
✨ Independent swimming classes for older children
✨ Experienced, friendly teachers

We’ve added new classes and new spaces, but some sessions are already FULL and several others only have 1 or 2 spaces remaining! 👀
