Are you taking your dog for a countryside walk this Easter weekend?

Make sure you keep your dog on a lead around livestock, even if you can usually trust it to come to call.

It is an offence to allow a dog to worry sheep.

Today we’ve had 2 apprentices with us! Darcey’s helped Amy feed her calves, before we came up to the sheep shed and lambed the last triplet 🥳.
Then all 4 of us moved doubles to Modbury and some more of the Singles to Dittisham!
(With a pit stop for a drink at the Sportsman’s on the way back)

The last 3 days have been spent fencing and getting fields ready for ewes and lambs to go out! What a difference a bit of sun makes 🤩

Following Fins dancing this morning…

Ashley, of Foss Contracting has trimmed the hedges around the fields at the lambing shed. It’s great to have them looking so tidy now! 👌🏼

We’ve also moved the ewes around in the shed so we can see them on the camera without a blind spot. Apparently not taking into account they sleep under the hay rack 🤣

Slowly getting more prepared for it to all kickoff🐑
