A great day in Bunessan for the football — how brilliant to see the island come together through sport! ⚽️
Thank you to everyone who donated a raffle prize and bought tickets. An amazing £605 was raised for the hall! Every fundraiser brings us one step closer.

Tag Rugby Festival at Garmony Thursday 28th! 🏉

Ruth & Sally will be serving from 10:30am–2.30pm in the Rugby Club kitchen, with ALL funds going back into the Sports Hall & Rugby Club.

Saturday 16th May in Bunessan.

Grudge match between North and South. Even the kids are getting involved.

We are hoping to raise funds for the Isle of Mull All-Weather Indoor Sports Hall too.

Spectators at the game and pub goers at night are all welcome!

Our first event of the season and we are proud to be bringing you the might FALASGAIR to help fundraise for the Sports Hall being developed in Garmony. Plans for the new indoor sports hall have been revived and we're doing our bit to help out!

Falasgair is a vibrant six-piece Scottish traditional band based on the Isle of Skye, known for a high-energy mix of contemporary, self-penned, and traditional tunes. Their sound, described as "true war music" with immense pace and stomp, features bagpipes, whistles, fiddle, keys, guitar, and bodhrán, often bringing a raw energy to the Scottish folk scene.

Great to welcome BBC ALBA to rugby training last week to chat all things sports hall! 🏉

They spent time speaking with the kids about what a dedicated indoor space would mean to them and the positive impact it could have on their upbringing here. 🌊

We’re incredibly grateful to them for helping shine a light on this and for supporting us in driving it forward.

Did you know?💭

The Isle of Mull is the only major Scottish island without an indoor sports facility.

Islands like Skye, Lewis, Arran, and Orkney all have modern, multi-use indoor centres - spaces that support fitness, wellbeing, and community life all year round.

Meanwhile on Mull, we’re still without a dedicated indoor space.

In a place where weather can limit outdoor activity for much of the year, this isn’t just a gap - it’s a barrier. For our young people. For our health. For our community.

We’re not looking for more than others - just the same opportunity.

It’s time for Mull to catch up.🏃‍♀️🏀

Amazing, amazing, amazing! Thank you SO much to all the organisers, volunteers, stall holders, guests, caterers, raffle prizes donations and smiles!

This lovely community event has well and truly got the fundraising underway. With a WHOPPING £1482.40 raised.

🏀Introducing the BE-MORE Facility Plans🏸

We’re excited to share the plans for the BE-MORE indoor sports facility - a project designed to transform sport and wellbeing on the island.

The facility will include:
• A full-size basketball court enabling home games and league participation
• Dedicated space for badminton, tennis, indoor football, archery, and more
• A long-awaited fitness suite, with flexible equipment so the space can also host yoga, pilates, and group classes

No more last-minute cancellations due to weather. Our sports clubs will finally have a reliable, year-round training space so participants of all ages and ability can train consistently and reach their full potential.

We’re also developing a website with all the project information, which will be easily accessible via a QR code.

Right now, we need the community’s help.
