The club was sorry to hear today of the death of former Islandmagee goalkeeper and friend to many at the club Brian White 💔

Brian was a great character who gave so much to football not just locally but right across the country!

Thoughts with Judith and the rest of his family and friends as well as all at Barn United where Wh**ey has given so much of his time and commitment to over the years ❤️💙

🏆A fantastic night at Carrickfergus Cricket Club on Friday evening for our End of Season Awards Night 🏆

⚽️ End Of Season Review ⚽️

The club are delighted to confirm that following the conclusion of our football season that Paul Thompson and his backroom staff have all committed their long term future to the club for next season ❤️💙❤️

What a season of progress it's been for the club. We've gone from having just two teams at the club a couple of years ago to this season now having three Senior Teams and two youth teams with plans to add more! ⚽️

Add into this the tremendous success on the pitch with the 1st team winning their first silverware in 18 years, the 2nd team winning promotion for the 2nd consecutive season and a mid table finish for our young Development side in their first year in Senior football as well as our U15 and U16 players continuing to develop with several making their Senior debut through the pathway this year 🔴🔵

Off the pitch we've made great strides too with finally bringing a supporters stand to Wilbourne in a season which has seen supporter numbers through the gate each week at our games continue to soar both young and old! A huge thank you to our magnificent supporters who have followed the team in numbers home and away through thick and thin this season 🏟️

Well done to the players, committee and all members of coaching staff Thompo, McWhirter, Davy, Ando, Dean, Daniel, Josh, Jordy, Ben, Graeme, Tom, Paul, Stephen and Jamesy for all your superb efforts this season 🏆

We can't wait to see all of our teams continue to improve and grow again next season as we drive on for more success!

What a few weeks it's been for our 1st team player Alex Hawthorne!

From scoring the goal that ensured our Premier Division safety this season to then stepping into nets for the last 30 minutes of our Clarence Cup Final and keeping a clean sheet ❤️💙❤️

Nerves of steel from Alex to step up and put on the gloves when called upon in a time of need and for that we are very grateful 🧤

Alex epitomises what being an Islandmagee born and bred player means and whether it's on or off the pitch he always gives 100% for the club ❤️💙

The club would like to say a huge thank you to Timmy Clarke sports massage therapist at Reform for his incredible care, expertise and support before our recent cup final. Timmy looked after the boys before the night of the final and on the night, which helped several of the players recover faster, stay injury-free for the night, and perform at their best. We truly appreciate his services and look forward to working with him again. Highly recommended! ❤️💙
