- SATURDAY, Inverness Leisure Centre 11.00 - 12.30

CHILDRENS CLUB - TIMES & VENUES:
- THURSDAY, Inverness Leisure Centre 18.00 - 19.00
- FRIDAY, Charleston Academy 18.00 - 19.00
- SATURDAY, Inverness Leisure Centre 10.00 - 11.00

TRAINING NOTICES:

- No EXPERIENCE necessary.

- KIDS CLUB - Children MUST be minimum 8 years of age to attend.

- Classes at the Inverness Leisure Centre are INCLUDED on HIGHLIFE CARD or pay at the reception, £8.55 for Adults and £5.15 for Concessions.

- Classes at Charleston Academy are PRICED: £5 for Adults and £3 for Children.

- GRADINGS are held twice a year along with regular COMPETITIONS throughout the year. HKA INSTRUCTORS:

Apart from having our favourite instructor from Petersfield back with us; we have our Kyu and Dan gradings on Saturday.

Please note:
Friday sessions are at Charleston.
Saturday sessions are at Inverness Royal Academy.

A bit of a late post, we said baibai to Julia and Alex the other week who are embarking on their next adventure of starting university! Both have been training with us since they were 8 and they have been a pleasure to have as part of team HKA.
As a parting gift to Julia she endured a 'shark tank' and sparred with everyone with no rest in between💪
All the best for the future ladies!

12th Kanzen Cup - Dundee
Good day at the office for Team HKA.
We welcomed our Oban colleagues for the first time to the team and they delivered.
Medals table is impressive but as ever, I’m more pleased with the teamwork and support each member provides the others.

Before we look at the results; I must mention Sofian and Norbert; they incurred injuries very early in their matches and could not continue. Heart breaking to watch after all their preparation; but they’ll back!

Didn’t get photos of everyone and their medals. Will add more as they are shared.
Kirsty takes home the largest haul, with 4, closely followed by Alex and Calum.

Thanks to our friends at Kanzen Karate for another great day.

Our next event is our seminar with Sensei Matt Powell combined with our Kyu and Dan gradings.

Thank you to everyone who made it to our first HKA seminar in Oban!
From Mark & Eve taking their first karate class to senior instructors from Inverness, Cree Valley and Fife; the time flew in.
We covered basics; stance transitions, Heian Kata, Ji-in and kumite drills.
Friendships made and renewed.

As the holidays are drawing to a close we had an end of summer trip out to Wildwoodz for some paintball action. A fantastic day overall and some even went home with souvenirs... in the shape of pellet shaped bruises!

Don't forget classes resume at Inverness Leisure tomorrow. Look forward to seeing everyone back at training 🥋
