⚽️Lads progress to the Cup Quarter-Finals⚽️

​It was a tense and frustrating night for both sides, but a stellar shift from front to back secured the win. The drama peaked in the final 15 minutes when we were reduced to 10 men. Auctioneers capitalized to draw level, but the team's resilience shone through as we rallied to find the winning goal. From the opening kick-off, it was a thoroughly deserved victory.

FULL TIME: GFNT 10–1 Scorguie Utd 🟢🟣⚫️
​Don't let the scoreline fool you—this was a proper shift!
​Scorguie came out fighting with a revamped lineup and caught us cold, taking the lead just 4 minutes in. It was a first half to forget as we struggled to find our rhythm, but we fought back to go into the break 3–1 up.
​The second half was pure dominance. We controlled the tempo from the whistle and the goals finally flowed. Making 9 changes to the starting XI meant it took a while for us to click, but everything came together perfectly in the end.
​Three points and a massive scoreline. On to the next! 💪⚽

​This week’s MOTM goes to Liam Simpson! Due to work commitments and welcoming a little one just before the start of the season, Liam has been in and out of the team and hasn’t got many 90s under his belt.
​Did that show? Not one bit.
​He was absolutely everywhere in the middle of the park —cool, calm, and collected, chasing down every ball, putting in tackles, and just working non-stop.
​Thoroughly deserved, Liam! Hopefully, he can get a run of games now and really push on. 🔥💪

​The scoreline doesn't quite tell the whole story. We dominated the majority of the match, breaking the deadlock around the 30-minute mark. A lapse in concentration at a corner from a very poor decision against us allowed The Glen to equalise just before halftime.
​The lads bounced back in the second half, regaining the lead midway through. Huge credit to The Glen’s keeper, who made some incredible saves to keep them in with a shout. On to the next
