Kian is fighting a glioblastoma inoperable brain tumour, and he's doing everything that he can to give himself a chance to beat this. Therefore, a GoFundMe has been setup to try and raise money for his Private treatment in India.

Every donation no matter big or small brings Kian one step closer to his goal. Even if you're unable to donate, sharing this post could help him more than you realise.

This evening we take on our friends from FN FC at Ilkeston Town (7:45pm kick-off), raising money for the fantastic Little Lady Locks charity, which provides wigs for children with hair loss. The bar will be open throughout the evening, so please feel free to come and support both teams, and more importantly the charity. Last night we were beaten 5-3 by our friends from West Bridgford Shrimps in our penultimate game of the Sporting Evenings under 35's mini-league. In a unusually lacklustre opening 25 minutes from our lads, we fell 2-0 behind, but then started to produce the good attacking football that we normally produce. Positive words were exchanged between the management and players at half-time, and we were back to 2-2 after 20 minutes of the second-half thanks to two Ricky Wright goals, but then we almost immediately conceded a third goal. We then equalised through another tidy finish from Wright (another hat-trick for us),, before conceding two in the last 5 minutes of the game, whilst chasing the win. A very uncharacteristic under-par performance from our boys, but we can still win the league in our final game against Chillacticos on Friday, 26th. We had a pre-match minutes applause for members of a Shrimps players family, and our player Kaine Knight's dad (Jeff), who sadly passed away recently. We also managed to raise £80 for the Bliss charity (in memory of Isla-Grace Millership), which we'll roll over to the Chillacticos game in two weeks time.

On Friday evening we took on our friends from SEN Utd, in what was the proverbial 'game of two halves'. We raced into a 4-0 half-time lead, playing some really good football, with an hat-trick from our ever-reliable marksman Nay Hutchinson, and another from the wand that is the left-foot of Ricky Wright. I'm not sure what was said by the SEN management, but they came out a different team in the second half, and it turned into a basketball game that they dominated. We managed to hang on to a 4-3 win in the end, with debutant Tom Mason winning man-of-the-match for his massive defensive performance, just pipping Hutchinson and Kelvin Swindell. A special mention goes to Keaton Grainger and Harvey Saxton for their tireless work in our midfield. Most importantly, we managed to raise £153 (after hire costs) for the St Andrews Academy Special Needs School in Derby. We look forward to playing SEN Utd again in 2027. 👊🏻

It's an 8pm kick-off (possibly slightly earlier) at Ilkeston Town, with the bar being open throughout the evening.
