Fiddle fire back to back win on the road in this new challenging league, pre dominance for 60/70mins then saw out the game 👌Fiddle sitting in a respectable mid table 5th spot with only 3 points separating 5th to 2nd place⚽️Well Done lads 👏

Fiddle faced a new team to the league Wollaton RBL. Fiddle started fast and pressed well creating loads off chances. Playing out from the back the ball got worked to Rowland who played a inch perfect ball in behind which matched a unbelievable touch by Wright who chipped the keeper. Fiddles tails where up and after chance after chance fiddle won themself a corner Wright whipped a delicious in swinging ball to the back post where Grainger meet it with a great header. First half dominance saw Fiddle with loads off chances and another chance came from a long throw from Rowland that was brilliantly flicked off the experienced centre half Turtles head into the side netting. With fiddle keeping the ball well they won them selfs a throw on half way with the quick thinking off Rowland who ran and picked the ball up he launched another long throw in behind where Walsh latched on to it and hit a sweet volley into the bottom corner. Fiddles press was causing all kind off problems for Wollaton, Southgate knicked the ball and played a pass through to Wright where he slotted it into the corner. Second half Fiddle looked to keep the ball and see the game out, a few chances created from keeping the ball Wright was stopped from his Hat-trick twice with one being one off the saves off the season from the Wollaton keeper, Fiddle kept the ball well and saw the game out to keep a clean sheet and a massive 3 points! A few from todays tough defeat.
Fiddle started slow but picked up as the game went on with some good spells sawley were strong and battled from start to finish, Fiddle got back into the game with a defence splitting ball from Rowland to Walsh 1v1 with the keeper puts his chance away (1-1) 65 minutes gone fiddle found themselfs 3-1 down a moment off brilliance for Rowland from 30yards out with a free kick(3-2). Fiddles tails where up but soon pegged back from a goal for Sawley (4-2).Fiddle were piling the pressure on creating so many chances and not taking them. Corner after corner one hit the back off the net for fiddle a ball whipped in from Rowland met Senay’s bullet header(4-3) few more chances went begging and Sawley held on for the Opening game victory. Fiddle will bounce back next weekend! Good luck to Sawley in the season ⚽️
