Located in London’s East End, a short hop from the bustle of London Docklands and the City, Ilford Golf Club provides a welcome refuge from the cut and thrust of City life. Set in beautiful parkland surroundings, the club has continued to extend a warm welcome to visitors and members since 1907. The USGA standard 18 hole course presents a challenging experience to both novice and weathered golfers

alike. Commenting on the greens, a recent visitor wrote, ‘The health, density and absence of disease are of a quality I have not seen or enjoyed for a long time’. We are affiliated to the English Golf Union and the Essex Golf Union and compete annually in their team competitions. Our flourishing junior golfers section is a very important feature of the club, of which we are justifiably proud. Ilford Golf Club is committed to the development of all junior golf members from a very young age. Waiting to welcome the weary golfer or visiting guest, the club house offers a relaxed and friendly restaurant and bar facilities at very competitive prices. Whether it’s the full English or a gourmet lunch, our
restaurant will satisfy the most discerning appetite. A comfortable function hall with free Wi-Fi offers excellent venues for private functions. Our car park can provide off-street parking for 65 cars

The Club’s affiliated PGA pro, Gary Cant, provides on course tuition. You can visit the online shop at www.golfprogear.co.uk

The course is easily reachable being adjacent to the M11, A12 and A406 routes. Come and see us – you will always be guaranteed a warm welcome.

Golf Club Bar Staff Wanted!!

Were seeking a friendly and organized individual to work in our Golf Club Bar and handle some admin tasks. Responsibilities include:
• Bartending duties
• Managing green fees
• Answering phones
• Other administrative tasks

Key Details:
• Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings
• Increased hours during September and October (holiday cover)
• Driver preferred

Last Sunday saw The Captains Drive in, and William Durrant got the Captains ball.
Jamie Cook is our new Captain for 2025/26, have a great year Jamie, from us all at Ilford Golf Club.
Thanks to our outgoing Captain John Mullan for his year.
Jamie is pictured with his Vice Captain Chris Dietz.
Jamie received his Captains blazer from John after the round.
