After four away games on the trot, Cliff Parade Bowls Club are finally back at home tonight for our West 2 League match in Hunstanton.

We’re looking forward to being back on our own green and, if we’re lucky, we might even be treated to one of Hunstanton’s famous sunsets while we’re at it! 🌅🌊

Good luck to both teams, and if you’re passing by, come along and enjoy an evening of bowls and hopefully a spectacular view to round it off.

Just a quick but very disappointing update from Cliff Parade Bowl Club.

Unfortunately, the friendly match scheduled for Sunday 14th June has now been cancelled as our opponents are unable to raise a team.

However, we know many members were looking forward to a game, so we will try to arrange something for everyone who still wants to get out on the green and have a roll-up or some form of friendly competition.

We will keep you updated with any arrangements as soon as possible.

We are delighted to have created a brand new website for Cliff Parade Bowls Club, Hunstanton 🎉. It adds to the club’s ever-growing progress both on and off the green.

With clean navigation, clear calls to action, and engaging imagery throughout, this was a really enjoyable project to work on. It provides an easy point of contact for aspiring members to get in touch, and existing members can view all upcoming fixtures on the fixtures page 📅.

🌊🌅May Match Stats – What a Month It’s Been at Cliff Parade Bowls Club! 🎉

What a month May has been!

We played 19 matches, completing an incredible 1,377 ends and sending 3,510 woods down the green… plus a few extra ends that Kelvin kindly killed along the way! 😆

It wasn’t just about matches either. We had an amazing time welcoming families and new faces onto the green to try bowls for the very first time. Across our Saturday and Tuesday taster sessions, we welcomed over 200 people at the last count, with ages ranging from just 6 years old right through to 87.

We started May wrapped up against the cold and finished it reaching for the sun cream — what a difference a few weeks can make! ☀️

A special thank you goes to Jayne, Matt, Chris, Neal and Kelvin, who have given up their Saturdays for the good of the club. Your hard work, enthusiasm and dedication have helped make these sessions such a success.

And of course, thank you to everyone else who contributes their time and effort to make Cliff Parade such a special place to be. Whether you’re playing, volunteering, supporting or just cheering from the sidelines, you’re all part of what makes this club so fantastic.

Here’s to an even bigger and better June! 💙
