⛳Captains Day 2026⛳

On Saturday 11th of April Searles Golf Club hosted our Annual Captains Day in aid of NARS - Norfolk Accident Rescue Service .

The weather started off a bit wet and windy but it didn't stop a great day and a brilliant turn out of 57 golfers taking part.

We raised a Fantastic £680 on the day.

A Big thank you to everyone involved, Especially the 3 captains photographed (Bob Higginbotham Seniors Captain, Jacqui Rust Ladies Captain and David Cox Men's Captain)

I would like to extend my thanks again to NARS - Norfolk Accident Rescue Service for attending the day, for taking the time to speak to everyone and answer questions. It gave a real insight into where the money we raise goes and we can't thank you all enough for what you do.

⛳🚨THE MASTERS 2026 🚨⛳

We are pleased to announce that the Fountain Sports Bar will be showing the Final Round of The Masters on Sunday the 12th of April till its completion.

Food is available but will only be Baps and Chips when the kitchen closes.

We hope to see you all down enjoying the event, Members and Non-Members welcome.

Here's to many more years of support! We at Searles Golf Club love NARS - Norfolk Accident Rescue Service and everything they do!

A huge thank you to everyone at Searles Golf Club for their incredible support of NARS!

Last week we were honoured to receive an amazing £11,000 cheque and with other recent fundraising efforts their support has reached £17,000. Even more incredibly, over the last few years Searles Golf Club and its members have raised an outstanding £60,000 for our charity!

This level of generosity truly makes a difference and helps us continue providing enhanced pre-hospital care across Norfolk.

From all of us at NARS thank you for your continued support, dedication and generosity. 👏🏻

Thank you to Steve Matthews for your almost 26 years service from the 1st February 2000 - 28th November 2025 as one of our full time Green Keepers.

Although not fully Retiring Steve will be stepping back to a Part Time roll.

Enjoy your extra free time to get as much Golf in as you can!

🏆⛳Searles V Heacham Manor Ryder Cup ⛳🏆

It's that time of year again for both clubs to battle it out and see who is victorious.

On Saturday 25th October Heacham Manor hosted Searles for the Annual Ryder Cup.

It was a cold and windy morning but the competition was heating up.

Unfortunately for Searles, on the day Heacham Manor was the Victor with a score of 12.1/2 to 7.1/2.

We will see you next year at home where we will come out on top.

🏆⛳Searles Shotgun Fourball ⛳🏆

On Saturday 20th of September We had our annual Searles Shotgun Fourball Competition.

Thank you to all 11 teams entered, the competition was very close with the top 10 teams only being split by 5 points.

We look forward to officially presenting you both with the trophy on our Presentation Evening on the 25th October.

⛳🏆Owners V Locals Ryder Cup🏆⛳

On the 7th September we hosted our annual Owners V locals Ryder Cup.

The Weather was great, and we had a really good turnout for the day with 10 Matches on the line the competition was fierce.

With a score of 12.5 to 7.5 the Owners were victorious retaining the trophy for another year.

Dave Cox our Men's Captain presented the trophy to Owners and Team Paula Green ( Pictured Left) and Betty Ward (Pictured Right), who secured 2 points for the Owners winning both matches on the day.

Thank you to all who entered and Congratulations again to the Owners. We look forward next years competition.

🏆⛳Searles Club Championship 2025⛳🏆

On Sunday the 13th of July, We hosted our Annual Men's and Ladies Club Championship.

What a day for it the sun was shining with a slight breeze making it perfect golfing weather.

Men's Gross Winner with a score of 75 in a very tight playoff in extra holes and recipient of the Le Strange Cup. Rob Hills 🏆

Men's Nett Winner with a score of 61. Martin Robinson

Ladies Nett Winner with a score of 63. Kathy Kay

⛳COMBINED COURSE TEXAS SCRAMBLE ⛳

On Sunday the 11th of May, Searles and Heacham Manor hosted our annual Combined Course Texas Scramble.

The weather was fantastic, couldn't have asked for a better day and a great turn out of teams for the event with a total of 15 Teams.

First place with a winning score of 50 we would like to congratulate Jane Rimmer, Stephen Bunn, Helen Thory and Pat Richardson

Second Place with a score of 54 we would also like to congratulate Ollie Searle, Paul Searle, Glynis Thacker and Murray Christison.
