After last Saturday's incredible 9-1 victory against Priory FC, we're back in action this weekend as we take on Priory Rangers! 🧡

The two sides met in pre season, with Hunmanby coming away with a 5-2 win, and we'll be looking to continue our recent form and build on last week's fantastic result.

A local football club has been given just four months to find a new pitch after a parish council ended its agreement to use the village playing fields.

This is the latest update from the council. We are now seeing lights at the end of the tunnel but the battle is not yet over.

Further update on Hunmanby Playing Fields:

I have had more discussions with local residents who have knowledge of the current situation regarding the use of the playing fields.

I have not spoken to everyone yet, so please don't assume that you have been ignored.

I now have the agreement of six Parish Councillors (including the three who attended the meeting on Wednesday) that the minute should be rescinded. This would allow the Parish Council look at this issue again.

A couple of Parish Councillors have also offered their time to help which is much appreciated.

Ironically, I did miss Saturday's match at Scarborough Athletic as a result. That's life! Fans at SAFC will know only too well the difference it makes when clubs, the Council, local Councillors and local community pull together.
