WOW! What an amazing gala held at Haresfinch today, some amazing rugby played by all teams involved. Massive shout out to Paddy who organised such a great day with the added extra touches for the kids to work towards 👏🏻.

Our White Team took to the field first in this mornings festivals playing 5 great games and really working hard for each other in defence and attack. Amazing Effort Boys.

DOCKERS WHITES
(Played 5 Games, Won 4 Drew 1)
Hindley Stags Blacks - 5-2
Hindley Stags Golds - 4-2
Oldham St Annes - 2-2
Rylands Sharks - 6-1
Wigan St Jude’s - 6-1

At the end of their festivals the Player of the Tournament was awarded to Apollo for his strong hard runs and great defensive work. What an amazing achievement Apollo we are all really proud of you and it was very well deserved.

They then chose 3 of our players Archie, Apollo and Archie to take part in the All Stars Game, this was chosen by the refs and the points added up everytime their names got put forward. A great way to finish the morning festivals and the kids being able to keep the All Star shirts.

Our Green Team festivals started at 2.30pm and after a slow start in the first game they soon got back to playing some great rugby.

DOCKERS GREENS
(Played 4 Games, Won 3 Lost 1)
Wigan St Judes - 1-2
Haresfinch Blacks 2-0
Ince Rose Bridge - 5-1
Wigan St Patricks - 7-0

Again two of our players Franky & Jacob were in the mix for player of the tournament with a special mention but they just missed out by a couple of votes but it’s good to see them up there competing with the rest.

The three players picked for All Stars were Franky, Jacob and Charlie.

Well done boys on working hard and getting that opportunity to play alongside some of the other kids you certainly did us all proud 💚🤍.

Fastest Player of the Race was awarded to our one and only Jack as he just went over for the winning title!

But all in all these kids have all been great they have definitely been challenged but they never gave up. It’s been a long day!

Lastly, we want to wish James a speedy recovery and we hope you’re feeling better soon mate.

Up this early on a Sunday can only mean one thing!! Another away day for our boys as we travel to Haresfinch ARFLC to take part in FINCHFEST.
A long day ahead with both our teams taking part but we know the boys will rise to the occasion and do us all proud as always.
There are some great teams going and another opportunity for us to play teams we have never played before.
So let’s all get behind the boys as we look forward to watching them out there doing what they love and having a great day out with our Dockers Famalam 💚🤍

Great night for summer rugby, cooler and a bit of rain to soften the grounds, the kids absolutely love it! Thank you to Holderness Vikings Youth for another great festival 👏🏻.

PLAYERS OF THE MATCH

🟢⚪️Levi🟢⚪️
Levi is a player that gives 100% heart and body week in week out. His never quit attitude is amazing and it shows on the pitch.
Took 1 for the team tonight.

🟢⚪️Max🟢⚪️
Max is new to our team and is very raw with this only being his second game but he has a no fear attitude, tackles anything that runs at him and runs hard. He wants to improve himself every training session and it is already really showing.
Outstanding tonight really pleased for him.

🟢⚪️Robbie🟢⚪️
Robbie was solid in defence tonight, he didn’t look who was running at him, tackling really well and using his shoulders. Great service from dummy half.

🟢⚪️James & Jack🟢⚪️
A joint one tonight for these two. A great duo on the pitch and the link between them is getting better week on week.

Another great night all around. Thank you to our parents, friends and families for the support as always and our coaches and first aider.

First of all we would like to thank Stanningley Rugby Club for another great Gala Day. We always enjoy coming down and taking part, playing different teams and testing ourselves. Well Done for organising a great day. 👏🏻.

To our boys I say it all the time but you are an amazing group of kids. We saw some great rugby being played and your commitment and effort is second to none. You all did yourself, the coaches, our club and your families proud. Another undefeated Gala ✅👏🏻💪🏻 But more importantly it’s another day creating memories, playing the game you love and building those bonds and friendships no other sport can give.

A big Well Done to all our boys tonight for playing in the beat with no subs after 3 weeks off. They all played amazingly well as always.
Thank you to East Hull Youth Rugby Club (10s) for two great games of rugby and Lambwath Lions ARLFC Under 10’s 2026 Season for inviting one of our teams across to their festival. 👏🏻👍.

PLAYERS OF THE MATCH

🟢⚪️JACK🟢⚪️
It’s always hard going up against your old club but Jack really stepped up and gave 100%. He did loads of hard work, never missed a tackle and was a general in attack. Effort was unbelievable.

🟢⚪️Cole🟢⚪️
An absolute beast like always, tackled like a man ran like a bull and led the team in both attack and defence. He really put a shift in for the team - great effort.

🟢⚪️RONNIE🟢⚪️
Ronnie gave it 100% tonight, his defence was solid and he was running over kids for fun, making massive metres with ball in hand.

🟢⚪️FRANKY🟢⚪️
Franky played really well and showed a different side off his game tonight with a few cheeky offloads. He was solid in defence against some big lads.

As always thank you to parents and supporters for cheering the boys on. It’s good to be back feels like forever ago.

Tonight our Motley Crew will be roaming the streets at the Derby with their buckets raising some cash for their team. If you see them give them a wave and say Hi and if you can throw a couple of coins in their buckets it goes along way to support them and their grassroots rugby team. What a Day!
First all we would like to Thank Shaw Cross Sharks ARLFC for hosting a fantastic Gala Day today - the team has had a great day!
Our boys have absolutely smashed it as always, digging deep in some great competitive games and working hard for each other. We are all so proud of you all - a great team and a great bunch of kids.
