Some great news coming out of Malet Vikings again.
This time we are starting up a new U7s team (year 2 in September) to enter the ERCFA league.
We are East Hull based, just off Chamberlain Rd.
Training will start week commencing 8th of July.

Malet Vikings are looking at recruiting players for their new under 9s team come September (going into year 4). As well as looking for outfield players we are also wanting a goalkeeper. If you know of a child wanting to start their football journey or isn’t happy where they are playing currently then please drop us a message.

TRANSFER NEWS!

We would like to welcome Giulio to our footy family here at Malet Vikings U15s.
Giulio will add a great attacking threat to the team & will make his debut this Sunday in our home game vs Bilton Warriors (12.30pm KO).

So yet again the lovely cretins have been at it again. In the last 3 months we’ve had the containers broken into, the goal posts stolen and now the clubhouse broken into.
As you can see by the photos they’ve defaced the girls teams sign and damaged the locks. The locks have been replaced by some kind help from an uncle of one of our coaches but now it’s also the cost of getting numerous keys cut for all the coaches so they can keep volunteering.
It is beyond belief why someone would want to do this to grassroots football grounds or anything to that.
The police are informed so if you have any information please contact ourselves or humberside police.
Unfortunately I think the next step is shutter doors at a cost which the club can’t really afford but needs must. Anyone who knows someone who can do this and give us a price please pass them on.

PLEASE SHARE!

So, less than a week before the grassroots football season starts this happens.
Someone has taken time out to bring tools and remove a section of our adult 11-a-side goals deeming them useless.
This must have been done by someone needing this section surely?
Could you please keep a lookout for anyone out and about in the area? The photo on the right shows you the section missing.
Grassroots clubs try their hardest to raise money but this is going to cost over £3k to replace for a new set of can’t be repaired!
