A huge thanks to our very own U10’s/U12’s Girls Team for their heartfelt and generous actions today.

Having raised funds for a specific project they found they actually had some money leftover. So these incredibly generous young ladies donated the money to the Club and all the items required to plant up our club planters.

Following the events of this week and with a sunny Bank Holiday upon us, now is probably a good time for a timely reminder. Horsham RUFC’s Coolhurst Grounds are private property and not for general public use. Unfortunately following the burglary and previous incidents of criminal damage, threatening and abusive behaviour to staff we have to be quite robust about this.

We absolutely welcome the membership and local community to use the facilities but this has to be done in a correct and controlled manner. The Artificial Grass Pitch is the property of England Rugby and must only be used if booked.

Dog walkers are welcome to pass through but please clean up after your dog.

Police patrols have been increased in our area to assist in supporting us since the break in and our CCTV is constantly reviewed. If the Club is not aware of your attendance on site we will report the matter to establish why you were there.

We thank you for your understanding and support at this time.

It is with great sadness and frustration that we report that the Club suffered a burglary in the early hours of this morning. Three unknown individuals on e-bikes forced entry into all our containers/portacabin/garage on site. Unfortunately they did manage to steal some items.
At this time we can’t give out any more information as this incident is now subject of a Police investigation and anything disclosed in open public forum like this could prejudice the enquiry.
Needless to say if anyone has any information in regards to this or anything similar within the area this morning please contact Sussex Police referencing CAD 0304 19/05/26 or 47260124195.

So the weather held long enough last weekend for the Walking Rugby team to complete their first league match of the season away at Worthing. 3 games, 1 win and 2 losses, but loads of learns to take into the next match V's Burgess Hill next Wednesday...

Great to see Club President Alan Fisher demonstrating his pace and handling, club legend Billy Morton with ferocious tenacity and Captain for the day Chloe Murray leading from the front.. A great time was had by everyone involved.

If you fancy joining us for training and maybe some games please join us on the AGP for training on Monday evenings at 545/6.00 ish 😜
