Busy weekend at Hornsea Sporting for our annual tournament 😀 ran smoothly thanks to all our volunteers and teams that came and played with great sportsmanship aswell as playing some great football, the standard was high, well done to allbthe teams involved but a special shout out to -

HORNSEA TOURNAMENT!!!

Having secured top spot throughout the tournament we came up against RACA a team that travelled down from Newcastle also the only ones to take points off us throughout all the fixtures in a 1-1 game that was back and forth.

Unfortunately meeting them in the final didn't go our way this time.

So proud of the boys, all of them put an absolute shift in and played some amazing football, what a day....what a team

Onto the day itself 😀😀😀

Great day had by all yesterday from start to finish, the boys put an absolute shift in with plenty of game time in the blistering heat.

First group, pretty much full up of G1 teams so we knew it would be tough, did great in that stage so we progressed to the champions league,

3 games in that group,

Won 2
Drew 1

Unfortunately the team we'd beaten in our last game pipped us to the post having 1 more point than us meaning we didn't progress to the semis, very unfortunate as I felt we deserved this atleast but that's kids football 😆

Really proud of all the boys as a coach as they really did do amazing,

Well that's it our season has officially ended!!!

Yesterday the Lads played Lewie coyles academy and we are back again next Saturday, plenty of tournaments lined up to take us into next season.

As a coach I couldn't be prouder on how much the boys have progressed on and off the field its literally a big group of friends who are all amazing, they all get on with each other and they're football skills and knowledge has shone through, what a team 👏

To train them twice a week is always a pleasure, never a chore,
